Everything darkhood related is gone, there is nothing left of him. I'm sure there is a reason, his choice, forum choice who knows. Maybe we will never know.
I saw him at a different forum, in the ECF refuge camp. I don't want to name the forum, not sure about the rules. But it has a green to black header on top of the home page.
I recall someone or a couple of people getting on him a little in that thread (near the end) about his methods and while it seemed pretty juvenile in comparison with other forums (as far as arguments and disagreements go), he seemed to take it very much to heart and became very defensive. At some point he posted something to the effect of "screw it, I'm outta here", which I didn't think would be taken seriously- He's helped thousands.. it seemed over-reactive, but I've only been here a short time and there's probably much more involved than I perceive. At any rate, he is clearly missed.
Darn! I wish I had blogged his post when I had a chance, (the only way to save a good thread is to blog it to your profile), if he is gone I'm afraid I am going to have to hunt him down wherever he is and try to get him back... he is a great addition to ANY forum and he will be sorely missed.

He is using the same name and picture when I found him. I hope this is alright, but vape a tron is where I saw him last.
Yea, I miss him also! He was just about the first person to respond to my newbie thread when I was asking for help as to what to buy, just starting out. He always gave great advice to the Noobs starting out. He has been missed greatly by me, and I'm sure lots others on here. I followed the thread for a long while, then a couple days later, came back to it, or tried to, and it was gone. 
I did appreciate his tendency to always try to respond and help out, but sometimes I found his comments a little too.. er.. not arrogant.. 'know it all'-ish. We had a discussion about Vivi Novas before the ProTank even came out, he was telling me how useless it was for me to continue using my Novas and that I should throw them out and preorder ProTanks left and right. I kept a mild distance since that discussion. He was helpful though towards noobs, and he had some good ideas, but every now and then I could see a bit of a snarkyness to his posts. Not like were all innocent in that regard anyway.
