It's fun to watch the fanboys foaming at the mouth if someone insults their demigod. :D

I have one. My impressions??

Little long to be pocketable. Not too bad but its 490. A 650 would be way to long.

Can't really leave the house with it cause it uses special batteries. In a sea of batteries in all sizes nothing fits except the one bought just for it. The special batteries are only sold in the larger city stores but I'll grab one next visit.

With this set up it vapes very well. Performace is 100%. Nic delivery is about 50% and flavor is 50%. Its my ADV juice. I could double the flavoring and nic and get the same intake.

The hand feel is pretty nice. The 18350 cap is to short and feels weird. The 490 is just right. A 650 would be good also.

I only vape at 30w myself so its so close. Its like I could reach out and touch it. 40w seems to be pretty normal so if they just came out with a 30/40/50w unit in tube or box I'd be very interested.

That's part of the problem.

Outside of the forums who knows about provape?

I've talked to a bunch of people and normally get a deer stuck in headlights when referencing some of the sought after gear seen in our vendor forums. Provari included.

But when in a vape shop, "yeah, I've seen them". But still deer stuck in headlights. Just now with effort to look and seem informed.

When I mention the t-mod or reo... Same thing. Then they don't even know what squonking is. Or try to change the settings.

Here it is all about big box mods, mechs and rebuildables. Maybe I am just not noticing the smaller ego gear like I have in years past but these days when I see someone vaping out and about big gear is what I am seeing ...of course we have a really high number of vape shops around here that cater to this.

Good heavens! What is it with so many people dropping mods, running over them, etc.? In 4 1/2 years of vaping, I don't recall ever dropping one.

Its easier to have parrots than horses :D

And, yes, I can be superclutz. Neuropathy in my hands so can't feel things as well. Dropping a gallon of milk sure makes a mess :(

However, I haven't yet broken a mod or tank...despite running one over :)

Same here with the neuropathy in my hands, that coolfire v4 is so heavy and awkward to hold for me it's the first mod I have ever dropped though, multiple times, breaking a GS Air M tank and two of my fav drip tips! ...the coolfire is still working but dented up and now living in a drawer.

I carry mine in all three battery sizes. My favorite is 18350 being most pocketfriendly, but requires carrying extra batteries for all day battery coverage. The 18650 is a little long but manageable, but maybe I have deeper pockets.

Welcome to the world of vaping. All personal vaporizers that take replaceable batteries use IMR batteries. Accept this as a reality. Always carry a backup spare, and you can never have too many batteries.

Edit: I see you are talking about button top batteries. Odd that no one carries AW or Efests locally. I tend to buy all my batteries from RTD Vapor online.

Yes. Buttun tops.

I have every size battery but everything else in the world uses flattops. None of the local shops carry button tops. Only Utica and Syracuse have shops that sell Provari and those batteries.

I buy my batters online. Only one vape shop here has button tops, but they only have 18650s.

Funny thing is I didn't see any of that?!?

No, this was actually a fairly moderate discussion of the relative merits of a P'vari, compared to other mods. I totally get why some would value its longevity, and hence value, it's just not for me, in this instance -- for me, a good bit of the fun of vaping is the occasional indulgence of shinyitis. I not only don't mind buying 3-5 new mods every year, I *enjoy* it! If that makes me a collector, so be it -- the only "mod" I've ever bought that actually "broke" was a knock-off ego -- for $10, I learned why "knock-offs" are a bad idea. ;) So, since then, the only "clone" mod I've bought was the Fallen Angel, but I've seen some discussion that the Ehpro Fallen Angel's quality is actually better than the original Electric Angel -- the newer models might be better, I dunno.

I mainly stick to Innokin, and would probably also be happy with Sigeleis, since my Sigelei Zmax is top-notch, very high quality. I surrendered to Eleaf when I got my iSticks, but I got the 30w ones, once I saw that the 20w's won't step down, and the 50's had more problems than you could shake a stick at. I got 2 iStick30's, but at roughly $30 each, if they last a year, I won't feel cheated. The CF4's are a little more, roughly $35-$40, but I think they'll probably last longer than the iSticks.

I also have a Vamo v2, for which I paid $17 -- and as it's now over a year old and still working very well, I certainly got my money's worth out of that one! :D
