To my knowledge, Disman had said that KingSmoke, the sole admin, hadn't been in contact or commission in several months. Also that the entire forum was floating by itself and the few mods. I believe he had mentioned it was only a matter of time before it was down. Unfortunate, but the Mods did seem a bit drastic, and the site far less trafficked. Hope it all works out.

It looks like it has been turned off, rather than an error. I would say turned off by the owner too, not the host (unless the two are the same thing).

I read that too somewhere Tribble.

That dude Mavkain was a pretty worthless mod. I would venture a guess that he was a big part of why that place was so boring. He didn't appreciate any opinions but his own.

No offense to anyone here, but maybe it shut down because it was kinda boring on that forum. One of the mods over there is a real Nazi, too. Just a thought.

I think many of us prefer that forum. I thought it was more relevant since its a US based forum, I hope they get back up soon. Maybe you don't like it because you were banned from the site?

Anyone who is interesting wasn't very welcome over there.

Well, I guess I'm not interesting because I always felt very welcome there.

I saw the post you made after you got banned where you created a new user name for the sole purpose of coming back to kick sand around the sandbox. I don't know why you feel the need to bring up your issues with that forum over here, too.

In any event, I hope that those who frequented that forum will find their way over here.

I never really went there, but just ran a Whois on them: Ecigforum.com - E Cig Forum. Seems the domain name is up for renewal on 23rd of this month and hasn't yet been renewed.

Usually, if one's going to keep a domain name, one renews it before then and gets loads of notice in time to do so. So maybe they've taken the forum off completely, left just a totally blank page as their index page (not even got a single tag of any basic HTML in it!) in the knowledge they're not going to renew the domain?

If anyone's interested in the domain name, they might want to keep an eye on it when it expires and grab it?

Oh, I don't ban. I just send naughty little boys to bed without dinner. Just ask my nephew. :D

Julie, minus that last frustrated post (under a different login), did I really say anything over there that truly deserved a ban? The only threads that I involved myself in over at that forum were connected to that Safe Cig guy. I know it got a little heated, but where was the true harm in that? I think that mod was mad at me because the Safe Cig guy is his buddy, or something.
