Smoktech branded on the left

Unbranded replacement from Hoosiers on the right

Identical except for flange. Madvape's unbranded look exactly like Hoosiers as well.

Interesting. How do you like using the tank? I haven't tried it. I really like the 1.25 dual coils (not the tank type, and I know for sure those are SmokTech - Brent from Hoosier said they are). Even on my VV mod. I have tried other cartos, and I don't really like any of them as well. The 1.5 dual coils are good at 5 voilts, but not so great at 3.7 volts. I don't know if I am defeating the purpose of using higher voltage with dual coils, but at about 4.2 volts, the 1.25 dual coils are awesome.

I solely use carto-tanks now. They are pretty much idiot proof. No, even the LR 1.5 dual coils fail to perform at 3.7v although they are better than some of the things someone might be migrating from such as an ego-t. I like the 2ohm DC cartos on my VV turned all the way up to 5.5v. The current protection on my Infinity Pro kicks in before 5v with the 1.5 ohm DC. When all is said and done I prefer single coil, the smoktech 1.5 single coil at 3.7v and the boge 2.0/3.0 at higher voltage. But you need a shorter tank to make use of the regular length sc. My normal set-up is with the Buzz M1A1 1" tank.

I haven't tried the 1.25 dual coils yet, I have some in my possession, but I haven't gotten to them yet.

Fried, I should have my 1.25dc's in the mail today. Thought I'd try them on my ego batts with the tank as a backup. I've been using the 2.0 ohm units and frankly, I'm a bit disappointed, they're great for about the first 6 hrs, then they just seem to go flat. Flavor goes to nil, throat hit is reduced and virtually no vapor. So I ordered a variety from Brent at Hoosier and I'm hoping to find the perfect combo.

Honestly after trying all these cartos, the DC's disappoint me more and more. I tried the 1.25's and they are just like the other DC's except they work at lower V. At 3.4V on an ego battery the smoktech 1.5 or 1.7 ohm single coils are the way to go. You might try the Kangers, I personally didn't like them but some many other people do they are worth trying, they definitely work well on lower voltage PV's such as the ego.

Do the flanges keep them from moving on tank ? Not needed wright.

The flange keeps the tank from sliding toward the mod, but not sliding off the end of the carto. If your mod such as your Provari butts up against the tank, the flange is more likely to give you trouble than it saves you.

I really like the flange on the DC carts, works really well with the buzz.

Yes, I suppose I should have finished my statement, I saw the 2 provaris in the Speedemon's signature and tailored my answer for that set-up. On any mod such as mactrekr's Buzz (or the IPro I just sold) that has an extender on the 510 connection the flange becomes almost indispensable.
