Ok I assume I am very different than most of you after reading most all posts. I am looking for a light throat hit, less vapor [more like my old analogs) but still want a lot of flavor.....seems like a wimpy smoker....but that's what I like.
so am looking for suggestions.....I own the Ego-C.....any suggestions?
Dont want a huge cloud of vapor surrounding me when I vape, especially at work. But love the flavors that are out there to vape....some are really awesome.
any help appreciated.

Well, 100% VG will be a problem in the Ego-C... But drying to dilute with distilled water might work. I never tried that.

However, I think you can try a higher resistance atomizer (Ego-C kits tend to come with the low resistance, so try buying "standard" resistance atty heads). You can also try a cartomizer or such with a higher resistance and use a longer drip tip (that will cool the vapor even more). Generally cartomizers and clearomizers have better flavor than the Ego-C. At a higher resistance, they will give off less and cooler vapor.

And most obviously, try reducing the nicotine content to the lowest that keeps you off the analogs. In time, you might find that is actually 0. A lot of vapers, I am convinced of this, stick to some nicotine for the throat hit rather than for the nicotine's sake - so you are very lucky you don't like TH :)

more VG content will give more vapor though, so I do not think the 100% VG will work much

I just mixed some 80pg/10vg/10%di water at around 18-20mg, there is still a good throat hit but the vapor is as close or weaker than traditional cigarette, it does not linger and all and can only bee seen on exhale. Lessening the mg would result in less throat hit, and changing the pg/di ratio also would lessen throat hit and vapor more :),

I'm not sure if you're willing to consider an equipment change, but for minimizing vapor and TH, the 510 really isn't ideal. I've always heard that the 801s produce great flavor with less vapor and TH than something like a 510, though I have never tried one myself.

You may also want to look into possibly using a slightly higher resistance atomizer. That should produce less vapor and TH as well.

Less VG and more PG = more flavor, less vapor.
Less nicotine = less throat hit.
Higher resistance = less or weaker vapor, including flavor.
Dilution with water = less of everything, including flavor.

That's what you have to work with. An eGo C, (3.4V?) is probably as good as any for what you want in terms of your PV.
You're just going to have to experiment with your juice and your atomizer or cartomizer.
I'd try reducing the nicotine, upping the PG and/or getting juice that offers versions with added flavor.
That, along with possibly using a slightly higher resistance, should get you where you want to be.

A lot of the throat hit is from heat as well as the juice. A 901 provides a cooler vape. The problem is that you pretty much have to drip. A DOD will help with that but, you'll have to squeeze the bottle fairly often. Also with a 901 you really need to go over to Avid vapor or empire mods and get a drip shield.

Reducing the power should help reduce both vapor and throat hit.
You can reduce the power by reducing the voltage, or increasing your atomizer/cartomizer resistance.

With the Ego you are already as low as you can go in voltage, so there is no option for you there.
But you can get a higher resistance atomizer/cartomizer to reduce the power.

Reduce the power too much, though, and you won't be vaping anymore.
