Hi Renolizzie,
Well you aren't the only one on the forum right now asking about stuff. ;) I've been thrilled for you watching you go from a newb to a vaper who is down to a couple of cigs a day.
i also like how you have been concerned for others in the storm on the other thread you visit a lot.

Personally, I can recommend Mt. Baker Vaper - and use coupon code ecf.
EC Blends take a lot of steeping I've found, and can taste perfumy. For more immediate use I think Mt. Baker Vaper would be better.

Hang in there girl - you've done amazing this far. The best is yet to come.

Thanks Kiwivap - I'm not actually a heartless beetch. I was drinking my coffee yesterday and it occurred to me that, despite my best planning, that this storm may have delayed my order by quite a bit of time. I do realize that the people in NYC and that area are having a rough time and I feel for them.

I was thinking that it might be a good idea to come up with a back up plan like finding a vendor that can ship quickly from the West Coast. No disrespect was intended. I've been through three major earthquakes so I know that it can take some time for businesses to get back on track after a natural disaster.

I've decided to just go back to smoking more cigs until I can get this straightened out. I am smoking far less than I used to and that is that.

I can go for the quit again when I get my confidence back up which could be pretty quickly. I was hoping DIY would help me since I live in the boonies and the nearest stores that sell juice are pretty far away.

PS-Thanks for the great suggestions from those of you who made suggestions on how to help me find juice that ships quickly.

Renolizzie .... Liberty Flights is in San Diego and ships super FAST! If you get your order in fairly early in the day...even on Friday...it should get to you in about 2 days! It does for me...and I live in Florida! They have a lot of juices, and while I DIY ...my husband has tried a few of their samples and says they are good. They seem to be well received by others here on ECF. Plus their shipping is only $3...and that is for that fast shipping I was talking about! If you click on the coupon box at the top left of their webpage you can get 20% off. Worth a shot! And better than cigarettes! E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings

Look...we all feel bad about the people suffering from the storm. It's a bad scene and heartbreaking. But the thing is YOUR situation is important too.... to YOU...and should not be kicked aside like you are nothing. I feel your concern and sympathize. You don't need to be jumped on about this. That was uncalled for!!! What are we supposed to do...stop our lives because of this disaster? I think not. I live in Florida. Terrible weather does terrible things down here all the time. Life goes on. Your needs are important...and being guilted about your needs because others are suffering isn't going to help a thing.

Thanks Fourthroock. You can't believe how much it meant to me to have someone in my corner this morning. I appreciate that.

I woke up a little down about a few situations here. Nothing that won't work itself out. Just letting a few things get me a bit down and I feel bit better now. Thanks.

Although I don't have any vendor suggestions to give you, I just wanted to chime in and say I don't think you are heartless at all. It is possible to feel sympathy for others AND be concerned about your journey from cigarettes to vaping. What you are doing is life-changing for you and your loved ones and is important. I've had a few moments of anxiety in the beginning when I ran out of juice before my order came in. I'm sure many people in the world were suffering from greater problems, ie. death, sickness, hunger but I was still worried about not having what I needed because of my desire to successfully quit smoking. I think you are doing a great job!

The panic that sets in when you realize that you may run out of juice is tremendous. Been there done that. I had a few cigs when it happened to me. Lesson learned here. I now have lots of juice on hand. We tend to forget, until you go through that learning curve, getting supplies is not as easy as running to the local store or gas station to get those cigs.

Maybe tempering the original post with a few lines about the disaster and your situation might have avoided the inevitable backlash that sometimes get thrown out. But that is not a guarantee it wouldn't have happened anyway. What is done is done. Hopefully those that jumped first without all the facts have learned not to jump first and to get the facts.

I'm sorry this happened to you, truly I am. Have you been able to get more supplies yet? If not I would be willing to next day some juice to you. Let me know.

Thanks, Robino. If I need to I will just order some on an overnight or 2 day. I have 18mg but it hasn't been enough to keep me off the cigs [I cut down from 2 plus packs to 1 pack immediately but I had to go for the 24mg to cut back even further] The 24 seems to be doing pretty good. I got some DIY materials ordered and, although that will take a bit of learning and steeping time, I think that I will try some 30mg for the first thing in the morning and when I get a total craving for a cig. I really am vaping a lot but from what I understand, after awhile most people manage to cut back on sheer volume of vaping and nic levels.

I'm waiting for the mail lady. She should be here by 11am. If there isn't anything in the mail, I'll get an order into one of the suggested businesses for fast delivery. If I need them, I will smoke a few extra cigs. I'm not really trying to be a purist. Heck, I'm amazed I was thinking about quitting totally and I think I will get back to that place when I have the DIY going. A few cigs is way better than 2 plus packs a day. I'm not going to totally revert back to a zillion cigs, that is for sure.

And I haven't had mail delivery in two days.... Hopefully today. It really depends on where you live. No UPS delivery either...

It definitely depends on where you live, I know you got hit harder than I did. But even though USPS isn't delivering mail to people's houses in a lot of places, they're still running the big trucks and operating their sorting facilities

My EC Blend orders are always shipped the same day and get from Oregon to Texas in 2 days. Amazing. I ordered some late last night, and I expect I'll receive it on Saturday. Can't beat that.

Oh, and their Ry4 is good and I vape mine right out of the mailbox. It's probably better after steeping, but is plenty good to vape immediately.

And I agree with fourthrok. Yes, we are all horrified by the destruction on the east coast, but we all also have lives to live too. Life goes on just as it has after every other disaster.

OMG. My company that I usually order from is back East and they haven't processed my order yet. They usually process and ship fast. I'm worried they have been affected by the storm.

Are there any recommendations for fast shipping of some 24mg juice from west coast vendors??
Lots more serious stuff happened than this!!!!!! In the grand scheme of things We don't have problems.

i think some of you are being too hard on the OP.

yes, sandy has been tragic. I am sure we all, the OP included feel badly and wish we could help more.
I, with thousands of others, was once out of power in texas in august (100+ degrees, no AC) for 3 weeks after a hurricane. but the rest of the world went about their business. are you guys still going to work, watching tv, vaping, partying? I think it's ok that he is worried about running out of liquid!
now, I am ready for my blasting.........

One thing I noticed in this thread: the people who were upset at the OP were all from other areas, and those of us who got hit by the hurricane were trying to help with the juice situation. I find that kinda funny, personally
