What in the world is going on?

I'll try to make this as short as possible.

My set: eGo-T battery, KangerTech Protank...tank.
Boyfriend's set: "zVapor" battery (in the pic), same tank

For whatever reason, neither tank works on the zVapor battery. Both work perfectly fine on the eGo-T, but on the other one, we either don't get any vapor at all, or get a nice, numbing mouthful of juice. Yay.

After trying to use either tank on the zVapor, I unscrewed the tanks, and tried sucking in/blowing out the tanks w/o any batteries attached. Sucking in, as I stated earlier, gives a mouthful of juice...blowing out just sprays the bathroom mirror with it.

I've tried cleaning both tanks, checking the connections on both batteries, charging both batteries fully....I've done pretty much everything I can think of, and nothing is working with the zVapor battery. We got both batteries just about 2 weeks ago, maybe 3, and it's really frustrating having to switch back and forth.

What should I do? Everything is perfect on the eGo-T, why can't it be like that on the zVapor? D:
Should I bring the zVapor back to the shop I got it, or is there anything I can do before making a trip out there?

If you just bought it two weeks ago and it is not working I would take it back. If you are having problems now there will be more to come...
I would replace his battery with another eGo T. They are easy to use and more dependable.

Good Luck!!!

Thank you! I figured I'd try that, I tried googling "zVapor" and didn't really find anything. :/

between here and there
Hello,
Sounds to me like gratt is right. If the center pin on the batteries are setting too low then connection is not being made. Make sure that the protank is screw together properly. Do you have any atomizers or cartomizers other than the protank that you can test? If so, that a check check to ensure that both batteries are operating. If not, take a small pair of tweezers and gently pull up on the center pin of the battery. If you pop it out(doubtful but can happen) just put in back in. Remember gently, don't pull to hard. Just get a good grip(with tweezers only) and gently rock it a little while pulling slighty.

Let us know if any of this helps.

:)

Or if you have an 510/510 adapter see if that will fit then try the other battery

I've tried using a flathead screwdriver to lift it up (the girl at the store did this with my eGo), no luck. Doesn't even look like I can lift it w/ tweezers, but I'll try anyways. We used to have the standard plastic tanks (dunno what they're called, just the basic ones I guess), then our first set cracked from the citrus flavored juices we were using. So...I got another pair of plastic ones, and that's when all the issues started on the zVapor. Not getting any pull, primarily. I got the Protanks since they were on sale while I brought the plastic tanks (2nd set) in to see what was going on, and those got fixed. Theeeeeen...we started using the Protanks because...well, why not? (They're nice and shiny.)

And now I'm here. :/

I know I'm on a lower nicotine level (16mg to his 24), but ....... it's irritating not having my battery. Boyfriend has it all day now since he's the one with the real cig addiction, mine is minor in comparison. I miss vaping on my way to work. ;3;

It's not "Zvapor" it's Vaporz. There are so many places either using "Vaporz" as part of a store name - 'cause that looks kewl and stuff - or selling really cheap cigalikes under a "Vaporz" brand name that I couldn't even hazard a guess as to the source of that one. It's a cheap one - that's all I could determine.

The reason you flooded your protank is that you sucked to hard when mounted on the zVappor pulling in juice and no air, trying to make it work. I know if you over tighten a PT on a Provari it will shut off the air flow and cause problems. did you try the PT on the zV without the ego beauty wring attached.? Maybe it doesn't screw down far enough to allow the 510 threads to make battery terminal connection. And always, when putting in a knew coil head on the PT, to allow a minimum of 15 minutes for juice to saturate your wick before that first vape.

I tried it with and without the little ring, still had the issue. I think it's more of a battery issue rather than the PT, since we were having problems with the standard plastic tank in addition to the PT. It was just worse on the PT.

Welp, I just tried my tank (finally, my first hit in over 12 hours...I was dying lol) on the zVapor/Vaporz/whatever w/o the ring, and it's...working a little better, but not as well as my eGo. I'm getting really loud popping noises, prob louder than it should be...and I got a little bit of juice in my mouth. Not quite as bad as it was yesterday, but definitely past a reasonable amount.
I'm really concerned about the juice squirting everywhere, as I've read it can cause respiratory issues and release a lot of lactic acid. That's seriously the LAST thing I need right now, I already have weak lungs naturally from being a 2mo. preemie/lifestyle issues (not as active as I should be), and I'm already sleep deprived as is. I don't need lactic acid slowing me down like crazy.

I guess I'll make do with this for now until my guy gets home and I can snag my eGo back/we can go back to the shop and get a replacement battery.

Oh, also, I didn't know about the 15 min waiting period. I've been priming the wicks before I fill the tanks and then just going straight to it about a min or two later. I've also found that keeping the entire thing upside down (tank down) is helping for whatever reason. It seems to be stopping the tank from leaking all over the battery contact.

EDIT: Here I am 5 min later, been continuously puffing and now it's starting to clog up again, even though I've kept it upside down between puffs. Damn this is frustrating. I'm afraid to suck a little harder, don't want more juice numbing my tongue.

I had that problem when I first started using protanks, they worked on egos but not my zmax. I found that I didn't screw the center pin of the coil into the base connector all the way. after i figured that out it worked on everything. I was always having to lift the battery pin on the ego to make it contact. check the center to see if its screwed onto the base all the way.

If ur gettin no vapor at all u have some type of connection issue, possibly the vaporz battery is defective or just not compatible ive never heard of them. the reason ur getting juice in ur mouth is from sucking so hard. u dont have to suck on pv's! let the device push the vapor in ur mouth and then inhale! good luck
