What is a Joye eGo cone for?

Good day to everyone. I started very recently with the 510. It quickly became apparent I would needed a bigger battery and more vapor or I might set aside the 510.

So I've ordered the eGo batteries, empty cartos and a variety of juices to try.

But I've not found a satisfactory description of what the cones are or are for. Are they for optimal use? Are they necessary like a battery or atomizer? What exactly is their purpose?

Mostly for looks. Some say that they constrict the airflow too much, some say it makes it better. The cone is not necessary, so use it if you like, or don't use it if you prefer not to.

from what i know they're just for looks. they dont really provide any function for the e-cig to work. some people say it's better without the cone because the air flow is better. personally i dont notice enough of a difference with or without it, just think it looks better when out and about with the cone

It catches any fluid that leaks out of the atty. Which happens to the best of us.

Pre-warming the air. It changes the airflow, so instead of coming in "cold" from the bottom. It's directed from the top along the outside of a warm atty and then into the atty.
Creates a warmer vape...as well as a tighter draw. Some don't like this a prefer without, some do..and some use it halfway tighten(middle road kinda thing)

I usually use the ego mega atty or mega cartos, the cone is unused and unnecessary, and the vapor production is much better IMO.

I have been using the cone on my riva, I like it, but to me it's not a huge difference with it on or off. I ordered some XL cartos, but found they had run out of stock, so I have to wait to try those. Most people seem to agree thought that they produce more vapor and better flavor. They also hold close to 2 ML of liquid, so you can go all day with 1 or 2 of them usually, with no refills.

It's all just personal preference, just try each way and see what you like best. I use both my batteries throughout the day with 2 different flavors, my kit only came with 1 cone, both are thoroughly enjoyable.
