Exactly what is cart filler made of? The ones that come with the 510 for example. Are they safe?

The material in mine, doesn't seem to be burning, but it does seem to break down. Little fibers come off it when I touch it etc.

What is the burning point, and even if it is below the burning point in an e cig, what sort of things are we inhaling when it is heated and breaking down?

I don't want to do any of these crazy modifications either, so please no advice on those.

Cart filling is basically polyester, I think. I don't know if it has the BPA that concerns some people about plastic water bottles, etc.

If you're worried about the chemicals in cart filler, and you don't want to do mods with pipe screens or wool or whatever, you might want to stick to direct dripping -- a few drops on the bridge of the atomizer, vape until it's gone, then drip some more.
