Dripping without squonkng has some drawbacks, although some may not apply to everyone.
I won't drip and drive, but I'll squonk and drive.
I won't lay a dripper down in motorcycle luggage, but I will a squonker.
I won't leave bottles of juice out. Between the dog and 4 parrots, someone is bound to get poisoned. I won't take that chance. I won't even take the chance of having juice on my hands. It wouldn't take much to hurt or kill a parrot. So this means going to the kitchen, filling, wiping atty if needed, and washing hands. Gets to be a pain.
Now if I didn't have all these critters, I probably would drip more.
That's really reaching.
Those points are not "drawback of dripping".
They have more to do with your lifestyle choices.
I drip and drive but I can also walk and chew bubble gum.
I also had no problems lighting, ashing, and smoking cigs while driving which takes a lot more effort than dripping.
I keep a lid on my juice and I'm responsible, so no chance of a pet getting in my juice.
I have it nearby...just like the bottle in your squonker but with less chance of a leak.
