The ProVari is a variable voltage mod ProVape Electronic Cigarette Battery Mods, Atomizers and E-Cigarette Accessories That means you can adjust the voltage that the PV puts out, for example an eGo outputs at 3.7 volts fixed (this actually decreases a little as the battery dies) with a VV mod you can adjust the voltage (ProVari can do 3.2-6.0 i think) for more vapor, throat hit, and warmer vapor. And some flavors taste better on a hotter atty too. You could also look up the Buzz, Infinty, Ali'i, etc....

Yep, 3.3-6 volts. Provari does 6 volts only using 1 battery. This is a big deal as a lot of the PVs out there are down right HUGE when you start stacking multiple batteries. Provari keeps a constant voltage (whatever you set it at in .1 volt increments) and once you go over 3.8 volts, it starts Boosting the voltage. This gives you controll to use whatever atty or carto or tank you want, regardless of what OHM it is and make them all taste great (exept the ego tank, because it is genuine flavorfail).

Where do I change the voltage? And how can I do that? I have also thesame product

If you have an eGo you can't change the voltage (though you can try a low resistance atty), if you have the ProVari you'll have to check their site, I can't afford one yet so I'm not much help...

lol, I figured Stownz would chime in on a ProVari thread :)

cool thanks guys I guess I'm just looking to get some highervoltage to my 801 for @ home drippin, That pro vari is pro vari expensive, are there cheaper ways to give my 801 higher volts?

You can get a 5 volt pass-through, check Welcome to MadVapes LLC they also have some diy 5v boxes for super cheap.

I use only 801 attys. Actually I use the BE112 (801 variation) and the mini 801. I think both of these vape better than the DSE801 when you drip, as I do.

You are definitely on the right track with wanting a higher voltage PV with the 801 atty. 801's are pretty weak on a 3.7 volt PV but really out perform other attys (IMO) on a 5 volt or variable volt (VV) PV. Two of the better 5 volt PV's available are the GLV2 (5 volt version) from: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor and for a less expensive (but well built) 5 volt or VV option get one of Ken's box mods: Box Mods .

Although I think the ProVari is definitely one of the two "top of the line" PV's on the market, I prefer the other top VV PV called the Darwin as it automatically adusts the power level of the PV as the atty's resistence changes: The Darwin .

After using a good 5 volt or VV PV, you will think you have never vaped before.

Ken's Box Mods has a really small variable volt unit that is like $65. It's called the "Little Sister" I ordered one for the wifey.

For certain times I just love using my Little Sister's, (liked her so much I got another). What's so great about it is it's size. I throw an XL Carto on her and can be quite stealth about my vaping. But, her size is also her drawback. A pair of 10440 batts only lasts me a couple hours. That means at least 6 spare batts if I'm out for 8 hours. But, there's a heap of vapin packed into that Bic Lighter sized package. JMHO

Cheers,

I've heard the Buzz will do just about the same as a provari, without the extras... IOW, you want the best out of any atty...

not sure about it's regulating ability compared to the Vari and Darwin though... for the price of the Buzz, you can have it (almost) all.

and yes, imo, this is the way to go... regulated power to the atty, any atty.

In one pv, you have the best of all vape worlds.

If you want to try high voltage with an 801 go to litecigusa.com and look at the x power 801 if I remember the name right ,it's an 801 battery that is 7.4 volts I bet with a standard 801 atomizer it would be a monster throat hit .

I would be very hesitent about this PV. For one 7.4 volts (if that is what it truely is) is too high and will boil eliquid. Second, I hear the battery life is like 30-45 minutes. I don't have one, so can't verify that but it makes sense when you look at how they are stacking tiny batteries. Plus the batteries cost way, way more than $3.50 which is what you would pay for the batteries in a box mod or a GLV2.

Lol, no. The buzz is nothing even remotely close to a provari. Buzz is a tube with a regulator, thats it.
