Just to let you know, the VMOD XL is $84.99. vapage often have 50% off sales, bringing it to $42 and change. I got one, then got another in the sale a couple of weeks ago. Just check the liquid feed section in the forum and you'll see them. For that price, you really can't beat them

I'm still not ready to pull the trigger on a REO, but I know it's going to happen one day.

As for selling your stuff, yes, you can sell anything vape related - batteries, clearos, RBA, mods etc. etc.

For 42$ I'm definitely in the market for one then. I saw a video where the owner had modded it to include a Kick as well. Pretty cool.

Nice concept tank. Bringing squonking to the masses of people that don't want to buy a specific device. I am not usually an early adopter, but I think I will pick one up - depending on retail price - just to see how it compares to the VMOD, and also to use my 2ohm atties on a VV / VW device.

Thanks for bringing this up, I never look in the vendor forums, I might start now...

the kick setup sounds pretty wicked ... of course if the VMOD XL fares better than some of the Revo owner's criticisms

This is my favorite thread on ECF at the moment, loads of great discussion, good ideas, new tanks and points well made.

Main issues I have heard about the VMOD is the plastic chassis cracking.

You can see that it's entirely made from plastic. I have to admit I have dropped it a couple of times already and I cringed thinking of that plastic shattering inside - but so far so good.

Hmm, looks like I don't have any juice in the one on the right - I do, raspberry lemonade to be specific :p

hmmm.. there is tons of room underneath that bottle for a kick ..

There are no contacts under the bottle - all the wires and contacts are on the other side, so it'd have to be modded quite a lot.

Just thinking about it, I don't understand why a kick can't be used with an 18500 battery with no modification. I'll have to do some more research on this.

Personally, I really have no need for a kick - I use 1.5ohm atties and even with a depleted battery, I still get a really good vape.

I really don't have any need for one either I just admire people's forward thinking

Well you were right, they install the kick under the bottle with an 18650 or on top with an 18500. About 3 mins in for those interested, although the whole review is pretty good.

He superglued most of the mod, made me laugh, but it seemed to work.

(I read the thread, but I'm jumping in without multi-quotes.) I already had my BFs when I read about the Boge Revolution. Isn't the battery unremovable? I keep thinking it is, which is what turned me off.

I got a Phinais box mod to celebrate a milestone. It's wood and I got it as a show piece, not thinking I would use it very often. I was surprised at how much I like bottom-feeding, which presented a problem. It's made of wood and far too pretty to take anywhere without worrying it would get banged up. I don't care for the look of the cone on the Vmod, so I went with a Reo.

The only thing I dislike about bottom-feeders is that it's difficult to change juice quickly. That's fine for me, since I have one juice I really like (I also drip and use tube mods to switch tanks), but I think it might be frustrating for a new vaper who doesn't know what flavors they like yet and don't have anything else.

Besides durability and look, what really sold me on the Reo is how its enthusiasts are often denigrated for liking their device. I have a ProVari. (Just so you know, I never suggest a person get one unless it is something they are already seriously considering and it's within their budget, but I've been communally flamed anyway.) Time and time again I read threads where the OP asks what's so great about a ProVari and when owners answer, other people jump in to say ProVari owners are fanbois who fell for the hype; staus-seekers who say the ProVari is great to justify spending too much money; how the technology is out-dated because it doesn't have VW; how one can buy 5 Vamos for the cost of 1 ProVari, etc., you all know the drill.

I'm not a status-seeker. If I wanted 5 Vamos, I would buy them. In fact, I bought a Vamo after I got my ProVari to see what the hype was about. Yes, I fell for Vamo hype. In my opinion, it's fine (although I like the Sigelei Zmax better) and it's worth the $37 I paid for it, but not a penny more. My ProVari is everything it's claimed to be. It's built like a tank, and while VW is something I use with other devices, it has no impact on the quality of my ProVari. I figured that since I've read posts criticizing Reo owners for similar reasons, there had to be something to it. There is. Based solely on my personal experience, the Reo is the ProVari of bottom-feeders.

P.S. I'm still waiting to read someone who doesn't own one (like many ProVari detractors) claim bottom-feeders are out-dated. Of course they are nimrod. And your point is?

lol so true... I have found my juice and don't ever change so that's even more of a reason to switch to a bottom feeder for me. On another note: I have owned the provari for at least 2 years now and sent it in one time and asked about upgrading it like I heard from the forums.. They charged me 20 dollars to upgrade it to the latest version which I was told that it has integrated some wattage scheme in the device but still uses a voltage readout. I didn't understand that fully but figured it was worth the upgrade. I didn't notice a single thing different when I got my device back.

The upgrade lowered the firing point, so one could use even lower resistance attys. The V1 won't fire below 3.0v, but the V2 will fire at 2.9v.
