I'm on the market to buy an e cig and hopefully use it has a tool to quit smoking. I have read many post on this forum but I get very confused with a lot of numbers and slang. 501, 901, this and that, to stay away from njoy ?... My main question is :

What is the best brand of ecig out there ? Which is the most recommended ? reliable ? and what to expect...

I smoke from 15- 20 cigs a day. Parliament lights.

My friend got an ecig from Fluxecigs.com and i was pretty happy with what it did and the appearance. I want to make sure I get the best and keeping in mind a low profile appearance.

I've seen Flux and Volcano which looks like the same product but different branding.

I appreciate the help, thank you.

I started using e-cigs on 2-16 and completely quit analogs on 2-19. I did alot of reading and research on here before I bought mine. I found a poll on here that was done on the favorite e-cig to buy it was hands down the 510..That is what I went with and I have had no problems I love it. I would link to that poll but it wont let me since I am still new and don't have that many posts yet.

Good Luck I'm sure you will find what you are looking for. Everyone here is really helpful.

If i were new i would try the disposables at www.madvapes.com they are 10.00 each...and apparently they last quite a long time. You would need 2 sets..so for roughly 20.00...it is enough to get you started and then you can figure out later on what exactly you would want to purchase.

also : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid this place has atomizers for 4.99, batteries very reasonable and a battery charger...

You will need at least 2 atomizers, 2 batteries and a charger to start off with.

The 901 or 510 is my preference to vape with. Either are good choices. Also the 801 is a good choice.

Get samples of eliquid from various places, you will need to try different flavors because what you think you would love, you wont.

Hope this helps...

Lots of different places here on this forum to purchase good supplies...but figuring out exactly what you want is the hard part.

I love my 510 and would recommend it - got mine from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. - good price, good shipping. The other 'most popular' is the KR8 as previously mentioned and the 901 is also another fave as CLumsy has said. Pics of all of these are on the ECF Library thread if you want to have a look.
Both 510, 901 and KR8 are sold by many vendors, various price ranges, with and without extras. Just make sure to get a spare atty and some good juices (maybe from a different vendor too) and a variety of nic levels because its not easy to guess what your nic strength will be until youve tried a couple. You can always dilute a too-strong one nad bump up a too weak one if needs be this way, and not waste money or juice :)

The best way to answer that question is to read The Wondeful World of Vaping in the ECF library section. Read all 6 parts. It is filled with pictures and helps to de-mystify the jargon. Plus it gives the benefits and draw back of the popular models.

You'll be able to narrow your choice after reading it.

I ended up with a 510 after reading it, but it's a good fit for me.

I agree; read this article it is excellent. The “best” ecig is what fits your needs the best.

Given that, the 510 and the KR808d-1 are two very popular basic models. Either one would be a good choice.

Both the 510 and the 808 put out.

The 808 puts out more often and lasts longer.

The 510 needs to have a little foreplay but then it rocks your socks off!!!

I would go with a no box kit from cignot for $35 add a passthrough and some liquid and you will be in the price range of free shipping. They are super fast and the most bang for your buck anywhere.

People will all say the same thing, start in the beginer forum. And yes you really should read so you know what your getting yourself into.

Then people will recomend their favorites, and its their favorite for their reasons.

But recenlty beeing there myself, what actually did it for me was this dude name wolfe on youtube. he comparted 3 models, the 410, 510 and kr808d-1. (which were the 3 models I narrowed it down to anyway from my research) I recomend watching that. It helped me with my choice of the kr808d-1 from points he said bang on in his review.

I can agree with a lot of the people here as well. Vapor4Life (kr808d-1)for ease of use, simplicity, and outstanding product as well as service. A little more $$ compared to some, but if you are serious about leaving analogs its well, well worth it and you will break even when/if you stop analogs.

First time vaper here! I went with the kr808d-1. I liked the idea of a 2 piece design that could still be refilled if I wanted. As everyone else has been saying, the two most popular models for beginners seem to be the 510 and the kr808d-1. I would definitely watch some Youtube reviews to get an idea of what the various models look like in action.

This poll says, a majority recommends a 510. I agree, or rather, I recommend a look at the eGo, which is basically a 510 with a bigger battery and a cover.

I'd not go with a KR8. Those things are, in my opinion at least, dangerous. Your decision of course, but you should know this: Burned filling IIIIIIIVV
