What is the best way to DIY?

I have recently purchased $100 worth of supplies ( apparently i over paid) and i am now wondering what the best way to mix is. I purchased a bunch of syringes rather than pour the liquids into containers for two reasons. 1. i don't like gloves. 2. easier to measure. does anyone have any tips when making my own juice? any assistance would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I'll give you my two cents. #1 use the calculators available (ejuice me).
#2 you'll be better off if you take an hour or so a read read read. Start on this site and go.

Everyone will tell you taste are different so good luck.
I've made two batches and I love them both.
70/30 mix, 11mg nic, 25% Lorann English Toffee
70/30 mix 11mg nic, 25% Lorann Strawberry Kiwi

After experimenting a bit - I have found that, for me, the simplest is the best.

Normally I smoke 24mg/ml. I have 60mg/ml nic which means that I need to add 1.5 ml of pg or vg + flavorings to every ml of nic juice to get the correct mix.

I use a syringe to measure; measuring directly into the bottle I will be using. It thus only takes a minute.

I like my flavors fairly strong about 20% favoring. I usually mix 10mg at a time. So, I just fill the 10mg dropper bottle I am going to keep my e-juice in with 4mg nic, add 2-3mg of flavorings and then fill the rest of the bottle with 3-4mg pg or vg.

Of course, it did take me awhile to figure out the flavors I like and which favors go well together. For a couple of my favorites I just use one flavoring. I love Lorann's Butter Rum and Chocolate Hazelnut and just mix them alone with a couple of drops of ez-sweetz. Others are a bit more complicated like 1mg PA's peach + 1/4 mg Lorann Orange Cream + 1/4mg PA coconut and 1/4mg PA's Pineapple and 1/2mg PA's French Vanilla + ez-sweetz , but even that one takes less time to mix then to type out.

The syringes work well as you dont have to gett he plastic in the liquid! When my medicine syringes with no needles get in the liquid and wipe them off the measuring lettering comes off! Make small 2-3 ml batches at a time with single flavors! Go to more complex mixes as you get more confident with them! Flavors such as fruit and stuff I usually start at about 10% flavoring! Tobacco flavorings are usually stronger and I start at 1 - 2% and add it drop by drop if it needs it!
This is a downloadable e juice calculator that allows you to save your recipe files for later use! It works great!
eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator
it's down on the bottom right corner!
Good Luck!

thank you for the post folks. I got some 150ng nic juice so i will definitely be using gloves. thanks again.

You might think about diluting your 150mg/ml down to a more workable strength before mixing flavors. I buy 100mg/ml PG in 120 or 240 ml size and then dilute it with VG to 60mg/ml and store it in 30ml colored glass bottles. I store the 30ml bottles in freezer bags in the freezer (in freezer bags just in the very slight chance of breakage). Besides protecting the nic from decomposing, it also gives me a manageable size and strength to work with. I got my ideas for storage from Kurt a chemist and a longtime ecf member. I had emailed a friend for advice on PVs, as he has been vaping for several months now.
In his reply he gave me some good tips, including recommending this site.
Since he knows I'm a homebrewer, he said that I would probably want to DIY my juice after a while. The funny thing was that I had already been reading and researching DIY sites.
Haven't even got my first PV (it's on order, along with some extra parts, and sample size juices) but already have some DIY juice sites saved for later reference. Must be something to do with the homebrewer mindset.
