Just a simple rinse for the Kanger coils at my friends house, three of them, all tanks still have juice in them. Carefully positioned tanks upside down on counter while I rinse coils in hot water. I use a fork (wedge chimney in tines) to hold them in the water stream. Well, the cat decided to have spat with the dog, inches from my feet, which were bare. While trying to avoid further scratches on my feet I manged to stab myself with the fork AND knock over all three tanks. So now my feet are scratched, palm stuck with fork and about 4-6ml of juice wasted. But by golly I have clean coils! And hey, no tank glass was broken!

But I don't think this counts because it was not my fault, I can blame this on the pets.

But I did drop a Protank2 on the tile floor in a hotel bathroom while preparing to rinse the coil. Drip tip removed but base still on. Didn't break the glass and I was thinking how lucky that was. Then discovered that it hit at a perfect angle and oval-ed the top so now drip tip has be forced on. That was weeks ago and I still use it. I alone own this one.

I’ve been vaping for about 6 months and for the last few months have been using only Kanger eVod batteries and Mini Protank 2s. I usually hit the button a second or two before taking a vape.

About a week ago, I got a new toy - a IGO-s RDA - which I naturally started playing with a lot. A couple of days after I got it, I had decided to clean the coil so I pulled the cap, discarded the cotton wick and started pulsing the coil, when something on the TV caught my attention. While I was watching the TV I decided that I needed a vape, so I hit the button, waited a second and brought my unit to my lips. I heard as quick “zzztttt” and felt a sudden pain - I had brought the RDA with a bare, red-hot coil to my lips.

Duh! I felt so dense that I had to chuckle to myself. Luckily, no one was around to see that! :p

I took my genesis atty to bits and ran the various bits under a hot tap to clean. I happened to drop the negative post I was holding, and it landed in the sink and clattered around, balancing on the middle of the unplugged drain. I tried to grab it, and fumbled it. It dropped down the drain. DOH

I dismanted the plumbing underneath the sink. The U-pipe was in my hand and it fell apart. A washer fell out, no idea where it was supposed to go back. A white ring fell out, same. At least I got my negative post back. I tried to reassemble the plumbing, trying to figure out where everything was supposed to go. An hour later and still no joy. Panic set in.

The pan I had underneath the sink was getting full of water. I only just stopped myself from lifting the pan out and emptying it down the sink. Now that *would* have been dumb LOL

I started to think about having to call out a plumber, but then figured it all out. Sink back together. Panic over. Then the giggles started. Soon I was helpless with mirth. Hours to clean and rebuild an atty that should have taken me 10 minutes.

Doh. :)

Phone ringing at the office and pick up my MVP to answer it. Keep pressing the button and can't figure out why it won't answer! Have done this more than once I'm sorry to say!

I'm sorry, but that's funny as heck! Wish there'd been a camera running!

Dumb thing number 1: Tried to fill a vivi nova from the drip tip :D (I was a rookie at the time)

Dumb thing number 2: Built a .4Ω super nano coil in my Russian 91% (caution that will burn a hole in the roof of your mouth with the stock drip tip and a lung hit)

My brother trumped me though he accidently ordered nine Nemesis clones from Kidney Puncher because his computer froze when he was in the check out...

Making one of my first micro coils on a Trident. Fired it, the mod slipped and I grabbed it before it could hit the table:

Nice looking coil, wasn't it

Is the Trident OK... I think the Trident would hurt more if it hit the table. That's going to leave a cool scar, and nice coil by the way...

What is the DUMBEST thing you've done in your vaping career?

Nothing. Not a thing. Not one dumb move. Is this a career or a hobby? I'll just call it a hobby and stick to the "not one dumb move".

Now I'll admit to making a lot of $tupid moves...

No, take that back... every "not-so-wise" move has been a learning experience. From the Red Dragon cig-a-like to staying up all night hitting F5 in search of the perfect vape. It's all been good 'cause after 35 years DR now has me as Non-Smoker, 2 years next month.

For those just starting, take a clue and educate yourself here on ECF before you blow the bank:)
