What is the most expensive vaporizer out there right now? Also, what is the best vaporizer/highest quality vaporizer currently available? (Regardless of whether or not the answers to those two questions end up matching)... Also, I mean nicotine vaporizers only - so the $700 dollar Volcano doesn't count as an answer to this question because it's not intended for nicotine fluid or tobacco. From my brief research, and I could be wrong which is why I'm asking, but it looks like the $120.00 innokin iTaste VTR is the most expensive nicotine-only vaporizer that's in stores right now (online and at the local novelty shop). As for the highest quality... I've got no clue - enlighten me ;)

When it comes to mechanical mods, the sky is the limit. Materials and craftsmanship can push them to several thousand for an original piece. Platinum, gold, silver, and gem stones push the material costs up pretty quick; fine filigree and other tooling can add a lot of hours and expertise to the cost.

I believe the solid silver Caravela MSRP is $2800

That sounds about right. I think they intended to produce one or two solid gold versions too, if they followed through with I have no idea. If they did the price tag would be truly eye watering!

Edit: I just did a quick google search and I wasn't dreaming about the solid gold 'vela, the price is... wait for it...

30.000 euros which is 23.900 GBP or 38.880 US Dollars! Bargain! :laugh:

For top quality battery regulated mod, look at the provari;

For quality topper, check vaporart.

Ugh... I donno about the diamonds. Personally, I'm entirely happy with my candy pink Innokin iTaste CLK and am excitedly waiting for an MVP 2.0 (Energy Series - design) to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. I still use my Blu's occasionally... Just because I still have a lot of extra cartomizers left over and sometimes in public it feels more comfortable to use a Blu than a vaping mod. I always feel like people are looking at me suspiciously, assuming I have some sort of green product inside my unit... So I'll just use a Blu. Those situations seem to happen a lot when you're in a populated downtown area and there are lots of parents there with their little children...

These high dollar mods are more of a collectors piece than a practical mod that you wouldn't be scared to take out of the house or even touch.
I mean imagine misplacing your $3k Otto or your $30k Caravela, it would be devastating to the non uber rich!

While I admire some of the work put into these creations, I'm more into functionality. As with any other hobby/interest, there's a point where that extra few hundred dollars (or thousand dollars) isn't buying you more quality, it's buying you more things that don't contribute to the vape.

I'd be okay with spending $500 on a mod - but it better be the BEST thing on the street, no bugs, flaws, or errors, with one HECK of a warranty...
