wont this type of
vaping produce huge amounts of formaldahyde. not sure if thats how you spell it but i think you all know what i am talking about.
no, and here is why.
Example:
if you have a 1 ohm coil, and it uses 17 watts.
and you have a duel coil setup in parallel. and each coil is 1 ohm, (0.5 ohm) then each coil still uses 17 watts.
with the duel coil rig you are pulling twice as many amps as the single coil, but the amps are divided up by the number of branches or "coils" and voltage remains the same at each branch (4.2 volts at each branch) so that is why each coil in a duel coil rig ends up at the same wattage as the single coil. so the coils in the duel coil rig are not getting hotter. your just running more coils to get more vapor, flavor and throat hit.
the duel coil rig might seem warmer because of something Rurwin pointed out on one of my threads a while back.... "Thermal Mass". basically you have a larger denser volume of vapor so it transmits the heat to your mouth throat and lungs better, but its not actually hotter than the vapor from the single coil rig.
