What is the proportion of nicotine in the e-liquids?

Ok, I've searched and searched these forums and the answer to this question has evaded me.

Here it is:

Let's say we have a 10ml 24mg juice. What does that mean?

Is it 24mgs added to 10ml? Then how does that translate to 30ml?

Is that 24mg suspended in 30ml? That would be weaker.

Is it 24mg per drop? 8-o That would be scary!

Anyone here know?

Perhaps a percentage system would be more advisable?

My apologies if this is a stupid question but it has haunted me since the beginning.

It's a measurement per ml Mike.

24 is 24mg per 1ml

Johnson Creek is an exception, theirs is measured in mg per 1.2ml.
