I know bleeding gums is one of the side effects of quitting analogs, but why? Every time I brush my teeth, my gums pour blood. How long will that last?
My gums started to bleed a bit when I first started vaping but it was not from quitting analogs as I switched to vaping from nicotine lozenges. I figured it was because I was drying my mouth out so I try to keep water around to sip more often than I use to. Make sure to use some Listerine so you don't wind up with a gum infection.
I've read here before that your gums bleed more because smoking analogs constricted the blood vessels in your gums. Since thats not happening anymore, your body pretty much has to get back used to doing its own constricting work. It should eventually subside though.
