I'm into flavor rather than clouds. My favorite RDA is the Origen, and I generally do one or two cotton macro coils with a resistance somewhere between 1.2 and 1.5. I use 26 or 28 kanthal, depending on the number of coils. I'm a big fan of vertical coil drippers, and will definitely shell out for the Veritas next time I'm feeling flush; I'm very curious about its desaign.
My favorite RBA is the Pulse G, which I also build with cotton, but a bit higher - like 1.5 to 1.7 - because of the severely reduced chamber. Anything lower is just
too much, if you know what I mean.
And thanks for starting this thread, Ryuoska! Lately I've been getting the feeling that new people automatically assume that RDAs and mechanicals only work at sub-ohm resistances. I've no idea where this peculiar idea comes from, but it certainly seems to be making the rounds!
