I love the color blue, it reminds me of water and it is a refreshing color to me.

Black is my favorite color, I don't know why never gave it much thought. All my clothes are black and everything I buy that has a color choice is black if its available.
Black, for a few reasons...It reminds me of night. Since it is technically an absense of colors, it feels peaceful, like an absence of distractions, and when it comes to clothing its easy, cuz everything matches black.
Black has always been my favorite not sure why even wanted to paint my room black but my parents then my wife would never let me *sigh*
BLUE!
Shiny metal! I definately have magpie syndrome. See a penny..leave it there, its only a dam penny and no telling where its been...oohhhhhh...looook....a errant piece of tin foil! XD
Green! I love green...green is the just the color I'm most drawn to...and I'm not sure I know "why". I also love brown and silver. Minus the silver, I suppose I'm just a lover of earth tones...but still don't know "why"...it just is what it is. 
Hot pink! I love deep, bright, vibrant pinks. I also love aqua/turquoise blue. Those two compete for my favorite. I'm not sure why they are my favorites. I guess they just make me happy.
My fav color is RED, y do u ask...because it's freaking sexy, color of passion, blah blah blah, seriously tho there's just somthing about red that gets my blood pumping lol, I've got a red car, truck and motorbike, sheets, curtains ect I'm addicted to red!-))
Blue, followed closely by green, with purple bringing up the rear.
Blue: Is just a color I've always been drawn to, as it was mentioned already, it's the color of the ocean and the sky, it's refreshing and gorgeous. My favorite is cobalt blue and deep, dark metallic blue. When I'm in a very excited/good mood, I love me some electric blue. (like the color of a blue LED). For some reason, blue also reminds me of gemstones and lavish things.
Green: for several reasons. It's my dad and my husbands favorite color, so green seems to be tied to the good men in my life. My son also seems to have an affinity for the color green. I remember when I was young and living in the country, driving down a road lined with lush green trees topped with a deep blue sky, it was the most beautiful thing to me. So the mix of Blue / Green always brings back good, calm and peaceful memories.
Purple: because it was my moms and is my best friends favorite color. Purple is the 'girl' in me. Whenever I went to feel girly, I spring for some purple nail polish or eyeshadow. It's like my Pink. I think Purple was my moms favorite color because it is the color of Lilacs, which she absolutely loved. So I guess that's a common reason

Isn't it weird how we're all drawn to different colors with no real reason we can think of? I bet there have been studies done on that.
I like black. Why? Don't know. I just like it. It's dark and mysterious.
I also have a fondness for dark, deep reds... like wine colors. Wine colored velvet is nice. Something about those deep, dark shades. Maybe they match my soul. : )

edit- just noticed in my avi I'm wearing black and a dark wine colored tank top with grey pants! The brightly colored touque is not mine btw and totally not my style!

It has always been turquoise blue and purple. This last year or so I got alot of pink stuff. But since purple is the survivors color. I thing I like purple for right now.
I was always a RED girl- HATED pink- cause I was blonde and it made me look washed out. THEn, Hubby got me a pair of lime green cowboy boots and I just fell in LOVE- I bet I have 15 shirts in lime green.
But the last few years (especially after a friend died of breast cancer) I have been drawn to pink. 6 years ago, you couldnt run me down and GIVE me pink. heck, I had on my daughters baby shower invites NO PINK! LOL
I also like REd and Blue. My living room is an off red- Burgandy- I am just drawn to anything bright and cheerful. I dont like pale colors.

My favorite color is orange, dont know why either, Its just happy!!! Followed by soft pink as Q4 stated the breast cancer pink holds lots of meaning for me.
