I made big mistakes mixing at even 10pct with many flavorings. So I start with 5 and work from there. Using 24mg base you should be near 18mg after flavorings. I mean its so cheap its worth having a go at .

I'll be sure to start @ 5% flavorings on my next order. Perhaps that is why I have not been happy with my mixes so far. It is what inspired me to try going unflavored...

ah yes, the dreaded Olfactory Fatigue Syndrome. It hits all of us eventually. What you basically need to do is get your nose to sense and get used to some radically different aroma than your liquids. Yes, changing up from a tobacco to a fruit flavor can help, or adding a bit of sweetness like sucralose if you vape unsweetened, or even a hit of cinnamon or menthol can do the trick. Unless you vape a lot of coffee or chocolate flavors, here's a trick that professional tasters (like for wine/whiskey, tea, and yes even perfume makers since it's about your nose not your tongue) use: they inhale strongly in a container that has strong coffee grounds in it. This has been a trick used for centuries to reset their olfactory sense. I do it sometimes when changing flavors doesn't work. cheers mate.

I had this real bad after breaking in a new coil and it lasted for the better part of two days.
In order of how bad the problem is.
1. Stop chain vaping for a while and change devices
2. Change to a lighter fruit flavor
3. Eat and drink something
4 Brush your teeth, tonge, and soft pallete
5. Brush your teeth, use mouth wash, take a hot shower, and clean out your nose
6. Do all the above and go to sleep - Time off will take care of the problem

I just went through a flavorless two days. When I mentioned it to my daughter, she suggested I drink some espresso coffee :ohmy:and it worked!

Seriously? Is there ANYTHING that combination doesn't fix?

Yeah. Mad Vapes Kona Cream. Pizza Rolls. Brushing my teeth. Getting mildly hammered. Sobering up. Coffee. Bacon. Then finally it went away with pizza rolls dipped in ghost pepper wing sauce and waiting a little while for my mouth to cool off.

Seriously. Worst. Flavor. Ever.

Clean your palette with:
A drop or two of 80 plus proof vodka

Silly poster, vodka doesn't come in drops.

I too vape the unflavored base when I get the "I can't taste my juice" syndrome. I diy and I make up large batches of 12mg 70%PG/30%VG base that I add flavors to. Vaping the base without any flavoring is quite good. It's sweet on it's own. Also, when I find that I'm adding more and more flavoring, I go back to vaping plain ole unflavored for a couple days... it's sort of "resets" my flavor expectation I guess. Unflavored juice (to me) gets boring after awhile and I find myself thinking about what I can add it it LOL. I use very very little flavoring in my diy mixes.. like maybe 10 total drops to a 20ml batch.

I got my last batch of nic (and PG and VG) at wizardlabs and am very happy with it. I don't mix many flavors at once either.. my main vape is a vanilla cookie mix.. 5 drops of Capella vanilla custard, 4 drops of FlavorArt Cookie and one drop of sweetener. Mmmm. My other main vape is 2 drops of FlavorApprentice Caramel Cappuccino (for a 20ml batch) and 3 or 4 drops of Flavorapprentice sweet cream. It's awesome with my morning coffee shake and it lasts for weeks in a carto tank (it masks the filler taste). With my vanilla cookie mix in a carto tank, the filler taste breaks through within a couple days. So my VC goes in the vivi nova and the caramel capp goes in a carto tank.
