We had a big budget battle in KS this summer. Taxes on e-liquid were thrown in almost as a afterthought (they were considering taxing garage sales). The sticking point was keeping the 0% income tax on private business, which in KS is the Koch Brothers. I can't recall off the top of my head but I think it was 50 cents a mil...so $15 on a typical 30 mil bottle. It does not go into effect until July 1st, 2016. I use unflavored and have several years in the freezer. My wife however uses a specific flavor. My plan is to have 2-3 years on hand by next year (I always keep 1 year on hand regardless). After that I will order thru my daughter who lives in another state and have her ship to me.

According to the link provided above http://blog.casaa.org/p/calls-to-action-by-state.html Madison, WI (the capital) has amended the smoking ban laws to include electronic cigarettes. An exemption was included for tobacco and vape shops. Some other cities are doing similar things.

I haven't heard of any proposed state wide actions.

I live in Hawaii they basically label vaping as smoking they don't care to learn the facts that the 2 are different. most of the vapers here really don't care they vape where they want and people smoke where they please as in many places here the nearest smoking area is way to far to be worth walking to take a smoke and that's obviously to try and make people now smoke. I believe they are even coming out with a new law stating you cannot vape in the car with children in it not sure if this is true or not as there are no laws stating you cannot smoke a cig with children in it.

Hawaii has some REALLY strict laws most are just simply ridiculous. most cops don't care but there are always those few that simply give people a hard time because of the power they are given. I also believe they already raised the smoking age from 18 to 21 here.
