Why are you switching your wife to cartos? Just curious.

because all she has used since she started vaping are Vivi Novas. I love the Nova but since I switched over to cartos I have no interest in them. My wife often complains about a burnt taste even when her volts are low which I have heard is a common problem with top coil clearos (namely the Nova). I just want her to try other things to see if there is something that will make her vaping more enjoyable so she doesnt get so frustrated with it like she has been.

Try some different type cartos ,i only use vertical coils ..tried ALL the rest .
I have cartos ,tanks ,etc ...As to steeping ...i strongly disagree about not steeping .
The only juices i know that dont need to be steeped is those that come from china i dont buy much anymore and shall remain nameless because i love their ecig models and carts/ tanks .
Freshly made juices ( one i order from makes to order ) DO need time to blend .
I am vaping another right now i hated out of the bottle ( a halo juice ) and LOVE after a week of steeping ..some are complex and just need that time .

I have never had a "bad" juice, from any supplier become good from steeping, if it was junk it stayed that way. All of the juices my wife and I have tried from Mt Baker Vapor or Vape Dudes did not require "steeping" to vape, time did add some complexity to them though.

A bad juice is a bad juice..but I've had lots and lots of juices that weren't ready to vape/weren't going to rock my world/had an odd taste become incredibly good/quite tasty/my favorite juice ever after steeping. Most of my own diy would have gone down the drain if immediate sampling was the deciding factor, along with some really wonderful liquids from vendors. I never fully got steeping until I tried diy.

Bobas bounty? If I remember right when you steep juice it's because that there is a part of water usually in the flavoring that when it sits the waters evaporates and leaves just the flavoring pg vg and nic. That's why you steep with the bottle off usually the first day so the water vapor has somewhere to go

I have to speak regarding this.

This is an erroneous statement. Steeping exists because some juice flavors DO change.

Take MBV butterscotch, for example. It's mixed fresh. When I get it, it's a very, very light color. Almost yellow. After 10 to 12 days, it turns a rich, dark, amber hue. This is most likely due to the nicotine being oxidized. The flavor does change. I know, because I've been vaping it for almost 8 months now. Along with countless other juices. Steeping exists because it's real and it works, not because of any "mis-information".

Comparing it to a cocktail is a little off. Comparing it to a nice, thick stew is better. When you cook a stew, you add your meat, your veggies, etc. You let it simmer and cook. The night it's prepared, it's delicious. The next several days, after all the flavors have the chance to intermingle with each other, the flavor is SPECTACULAR.

Bartending and mixing eliquid is most definitely NOT the same thing. Not even the same ballpark. Be careful with your declarative statements. Make sure you have the facts and the experience to back them up.

None of them require steeping if they are done right. Who ever came up with this steeping idea has sure caused a lot of mis-information. Ask yourself this question. When you make a cocktail of vodka and cranberry juice do you need to have the bartender steep it for days before you can drink it? Bartending and mixing e-liquid is the same thing. The biggest problem most make is they throw in the flavoring into the NIC juice, well duh now you have to mix it in heavy liquid. Easy fix, mix the flavoring with either your alcohol or distilled water first then add your glycerin then your NIC. I have written on here how to do it and it involves no steeping.....

MBV Cinnamon Roll I took to the minute I received my first bottle. Now I'm buying large bottles :) It's perfect right off the bat, though it does get a nice darker color with a little aging.

I just received some "Nom" from Strick Nyne, a new to the scene business, as well as a number of others. This is the first one I've tried and I think I have a winner. 50/50, great flavor, sort of chocolate cream/vanilla taste to it. LOVE it, right out of the bottle, threw it into a ProTank and now it's half empty. Great stuff.

Ok, so I am patient and am willing to let my juice steep if need be. That being said, this post is more for my wife. She still has not found that one juice that she can ADV without getting tired of it. The closest she has gotten is strawberry fuzz from nicquid but that is starting to give her a headache. We try A LOT of juice. I have noticed that some vendors make larger batches and let it steep before bottling and shipping (nicquid) while most others are bottled to order which, depending on the juice, can require some steeping. What we are trying to get away from is that perfume/floral flavor that a lot of juices seem to have off the top. Like I said, I am not against letting a juice steep but my wife wants to get a juice and have it taste good straight away. Any recommendations?

*side note* I know everyones taste is subjective and will vary but I am just hoping to get a general consensus.

Has she tried Bounty Hunter from NiteLiteVape? It is an AMAZING e-liquid, haven't found anyone who has tried it on here, or elsewhere that didn't like it. No need for steeping. It has a vanilla like flavor, taste kind of like vanilla wafers to me....but very gentle.

I definitely recommend that :)

Also, a good RY4 if you guys can find one :)

I have actually tried bounty hunter and wasnt very fond of it. That was before I started vaping though when a friend let me try it. I may see if he has any more and try it again to see how my taste has changed. My wife wouldnt care for either though as she is a fruity vaper. To answer your other question, She is currently vaping on a Vamo with Vivi Novas at 1.8 or 2.4 ohms. Im going to be switching her to cartos soon though if she likes them.

Guess I should have read further in the thread before replying. Sometimes I reply after reading the first post or two, and then go back and read the rest of the thread (like now).

I REALLY recommend you have her give bounty hunter a try again!

I can guarantee she wont like bounty hunter. She cringes at the thought of a tobacco juice. Shes also not very outgoing when it comes to juice sampling. If it doesnt have a name or flavor base that appeals to her or if someone else tries it with any less than a "omg thats amazing" reaction you can pretty much count her out haha. I was the one who tried bounty hunter and didnt like it at first. I have tried it since and still not a fan. Im not a fan of tobacco juices either. The only RY4 I have found that I like is from Mr. E Liquid because I dont detect a hint of tobacco in it, just a nice caramel with slight vanilla notes. Since I started this thread she has found a couple flavors she likes right out of the bottle. 1 being dime piece from Mr. E Liquid and the other being blackberry lemonade from Ivape.net (although I have since confiscated the 10ml bottle of it that she had sitting until she was ready to rotate flavors :D)

Understood but I buy a VG/PG 24nic base, I don't mix all that, I just take my base and add flavor. Now what?
