The shop where I bought my first one ONLY had 16mg. What good luck- I smoked lights for the last couple of years, so figured I wasn't THAT nic addicted...would have bought less if they'd had it.

Turns out 16-18 is just about right for me, most of the time. When I go out, I usually only take 16-18 with me, and it's fine.

At home, I also have some low nic (0 and 6 mg, good flavors to mix with others) which gives me the option of using 12, 9, 6, 3, or often 0 nic for chain vaping at the computer.

Got some 24mg for when I get serious cravings, but that rarely happens. I've only got on bottle of 24, and at current rates may never need another.

PS- Keep track of nic levels. I confused to bottles and chain vaped the 24 for a while once. Then had to go lie down...

I'm really confused what to do with my nicotine level. I was a pack a day smoker (Camel Menthol full flavor), and when I tried my friend's V2 carto unit the 18 mg nic literally made me feel like I was going to pass out...

When I bought my 510 I went with 18 mg because the other options were 24 or 8...I was afraid I would get the same result with the same nicotine. Wouldn't you know it...the 18 mg doesn't seem strong enough. It doesn't feel like it takes the edge off my cravings or give me a feeling of satisfaction (hence why I'm still succumbing to 2-3 analogs a day).

I think my new plan is to pick up a couple really tasty flavors in 24 mg to curb the bad cravings, and stick with 18 mg for my all day vape for now. Once I have gone a couple weeks completely analog free I will re-evaluate but I think that is the best approach for me during the transition.

I read somewhere the nicotine absorb from vaping is less than analog cigs. I think it's all depends on how much your body can take and ask for. For example, I used smoke marlboro light 1/2 pack a day, but I'm smoking 16mg now, sounds like more nicotine (marlboro light a pack=10mg nic), but tobacco produce thousand times of toxic than a 1ml of PG juice. My body got used to the toxic from tobacco but now I'm only getting nicotine(or maybe some other unknown substance) from the pv, my body is asking for more, so I'm on 16mg or even 18mg sometimes. I'm cutting down my nic to 10-12mg. :2cool:

I am over 3 months off of analogs, started with using 11 or 12 mg (38 yrs smoking 1.5 packs a day). I am now starting to cut it in half with distilled water.

I'd buy 6 mg juice but really, don't know where to find it really, in flavors I like. This seems to be a good way to do it tho with distilled water.

I am making a ml by: I premix my juices first to 1/2 with distilled water then shake then: I use 4 drops of VG for more vapor & 16 drops of PG. Its working for me, at least.

My goal is zero nic all the time. :)

For me, I can do with the lower levels as long as it has a great throat hit. I have been using Viking Vapor, as they have great flavors and offer all of them in the lower nic levels, and, and this is what I really like, they let you select your desired throat hit--light, standard, filterless. I always go with the filterless, and it is yet to let me down!!

When I smoke analogs, I tend to get a buzz fairly quickly, after 4-5 puffs on a full-flavored cigarette. With vaping, though, even vaping 18mg nicotine juices, I've found it hard to get a buzz. The whole throat hit and visible vapor really staves off most of the urge to smoke analogs, but there's something a bit missing there. I guess I'll have to try higher nicotine content juices.

Oh! That is me. I think I'll try that vendor.

I use 36, 24 and I think 18. I used the 36mg exclusively in the beginning and it was keeping me awake at night. I'm usually one who can drink coffee before bed and still go to sleep but that was making me wired. With 24 I can still go to sleep and I can't really tell a difference in the need for more nicotine. Same with the 18 I just don't have much of that.

I accidentally ordered some blueberry in 7mg and I have used it a couple times just to check it out. The biggest difference I notice with it is there is less throat hit. I like throat hit so for me its going to be hard to go lower that 24/18.

Keep in mind that nicotine isn't the only thing your body misses when you quit analogs. It's also missing those 4000+ chemicals that aren't present in vapor. It took me a couple of weeks before my body was happy with just the nicotine alone. I kept some good strong flavored 36mg around to knock back the cravings. Once I made it through those couple of weeks, I can manage on the 24 all day. I tried going down to 18mg and found myself chain vaping like a freight train. With 24mg, I normally vape like I use to smoke, once a hour for about 5 minutes, more if I hit the sauce. :)

Why not get a zero nic in the flavor you use then combine them to cut in half the nic without losing flavor?

I started out with 32 and 36, but that proved a bit too much since I love my flavors and vape a LOT. I have since cut back to 24mg, and plan to go lower.

The 36 makes my heart race, and definitely keeps me awake.

I am on 24mg where I started. I am happy with it for now. I may try to taper down but I am just happy to be analog free!
