Well I haven't totally abandoned mine yet, but it is definitely on the way to being a dust magnet.

Constant Spitting - I prefer to vape my juice rather than drink it
Leaking - Either I get it over wicked and scorch the cotton and have a poor draw, or I under wick it and it leaks
Air Flow - I prefer more airflow that it provides set at wide open
Connection Issues - I constantly have issues with the bottom pin making a good solid connection with the coils. Causes
the Ohms to jump around a bit at times. One hit it will be .5 couple hits later it is at .9 then it hits .3. Yes I
checked all my connections and thus found it was the center pin to the coil
RBA - TINY!! I know that really isnt fair as you can only fit a certain sized RBA in the tank, but I wish I had room for more
substantial coils in it when i build.
Muted Flavor - with my DIY fruit flavors all my drippers taste the same, but the Sub tank mutes them to much.
Filling - This is a pain. I get one good tank with no leaks, then I have to refill. take it off the mod, flip it over, unscrew
the base, fill with out dripping any juice in the chimney, reassemble and hope it wont leak. This is when I normally
start getting dry hits.
Unpredictable Dry Hits - Normally first fill is good. Then I refill it and every few hits are dry. TC has helped, but it
annoys me to no end that it happens.

Im sure a lot of this is do to me being semi-inept, but this has gone on for a year. Either there is something Hokey with my STM, or I just aint gonna figure it out at this point.

I just got a TFV4 and I fear that it has sounded the death Knell for my SubTank Mini. Flavor for days, airflow that I almost have to turn down a touch, easy peasy to fill.

On a side-note, any issues with running a pg-heavy (80%) juice in this tank?

I bought the updated version - with holes in the sides of the RBA section - specifically for high VG - 90%+. Works great. If I muck up the wicking, don't have to drain the tank to shuffle things around.

Filling is much easier than some other tanks (Lemo V1 for example). I don't have much trouble with leaks, and have been known to fill at a red light while driving.

I only use unflavored in it however (which is what I use almost all day). When I do use flavored, that goes in a Lemo (modified with holes in the side of the chamber like the subtank), or in an RDA.

I've had mine since June, only tank i've really used since I got it, it's pretty beaten up, only problem I have is with the OCC coils they have way too much cotton but that's fixed by rewicking them, not a fan of the rba though... I'm actually considering at getting another one in black to match my new Cloupor Mini+ I won ^__^

Durability is awesome! it has fallen more than 10 feet a few times and only has scratches, it actually fell tank first the other day and bent the top plate on my iStick 40w TC but tank was fine lol.

Hey guys... While I'm still waiting for my Subtank Mini to arrive, I have to admit that I'm a gadget ........ So I wanted to see what those of you who left the platform liked about it, disliked about it, replaced it with and why.
i like the flavor, the tighter draw, but it came with random leaking that i couldn't fix, even when i changed out the o-rings to beefier ones, i moved on to freemax starre v2, tfv4 and now im waiting for my tfv4 mini to arrive

I still use my V2, but haven't tried the RBA yet. I haven't noticed any spit-back from it, but I also haven't tried the new vertical coils yet. It replaced my Nautilus, but not my Silo. I trashed my Triton and Silo Beast in favor of the STM, but still use my Squape R the most. Followed by the STM, Silo, and Kayfun 4. The Squape has far superior flavor, easiest build deck, and is easy to fill.

Right behind you...
Subtank Mini was great (in comparison to what else was on the market, and for its price range) in January. It's now October. Vaping years are like dog years. It's old and has been long surpassed.

Don't get me wrong, Kanger really raised the bar with the ST/STM, and we owe them a debt of gratitude for doing so. But what have they done lately? :)

Pulling on it right now. I have heard a lot of people move on because of the v1 RBA section. The plus is a great little deck. Love it.

It's so damn funny, I prefer the V1 deck without modifying the juice channels. I've purchased just the V1 rba head and gave the V2 heads to a buddy on the new tanks I've bought.
