What makes a Clearo Mod-Worthy?

It's not the mod that melts coils. It's how much power you pull from it that may or may not be too much for the (usually) thinner wires used in clearos - as opposed to thicker wires more commonly used by rebuilders.

Without knowing anything about wattage, wire gauge and resistance (thus amount of wire used) - there's really no way to tell.

As a very general statement I'd say any mod can burn out any inadequate coil.

Ok, fine. We'll stop talking about mods. Who knows the science of what power is acceptably handled by what clearomizer / coil designs? Why?

I gotta say - everybody has the pedal to the metal here. But, when it's time to get Science behind what everyone's doing, not a whole lot emerges.

Play around with www.steam-engine.org/ and make it as scientific as you want.
