I use Totally Wicked Decandent Vapor Mentholyptus. Clears everything.

To change flavors in attys (why would anyone do this rather than just add another PV?) or to clear a flavor you don't care for, I blow out the atty into a paper towel from the cart end, add a few drops of PG, blow it out again, add a few more drop of PG, blow it out and put it on a PV and dry-burn a couple of blasts. Add a couple drops of the new flavor, add the cart (or carto) and vape away.

Dripping is actually my preferred way to try different flavors and I find it fun to organize the flavors to compliment each other on the journey, with the strongest one being last i.e. coffee, peanutbutter.

Yeah...I was. Lol But I'll take whatever advice I can get considering I'm pretty new to this vapaing thing (it'll be a full month tomorrow).

Hey zara1269...I like hot tea and assuming that's what you were talking about as a palate cleanser, I wonder if iced tea will work, too. With just a little bit of sugar in it. Usually, I'm either sipping on a Mt Dew or a bottle of water. I can taste my ejuice and I love them all, but I'm thinking if I had a good palate cleanser, they'll be even better.

Thanks,

Kat

I just fried my taste buds vaping cinnamon pear for a week so this thread is interesting to me too. Hope you get some good ideas here.

I've read that black coffee with a little sugar works pretty good. And I read somewhere that some citrus flavors can work, too. The one thing I've noticed is that some ejuice flavors have a stronger taste right after eating, but who the heck wants to eat every time they vape?

LOL..yeah hot tea. When I posted that I thought I should have clarified that but was too lazy. Darn Sundays!

I think Iced Tea would work as well. It's just b/c tea has such a mild flavor and it's usually something that is a nice background for other flavors that are added so I figured it would work well for vaping.

If you really want to cleanse your palate...in the food world they use Sorbet to cleanse between courses.

Also you have me thinking of something...is vaping more taste or smell (probably a mix of both)...if it's more a smell thing I have heard that you can sniff coffee beans to cleanse your olfactory "palate"...they do this in some candle and perfume shops.

Kat...that would be me. I pretty much want to eat all the time anytime since I gave up the analogs so I can't give myself any excuses to eat anymore. :)

I'm gonna sound like a complete good here and probably end up sneaking a deep sniff of my coffee grounds! Lol Just for the sake of experimentation.

I heard about sorbets, too. If it works for food, maybe it'll work for vaping. Vaping does have a lot to do with taste, so why not?

I was getting ready to make a big gallon pitcher or southern iced tea. I also have some fresh lemon slices in my fridge that I'll try with the tea. I'll let ya know how it goes!

See I gave you an excuse to make some iced tea! I can't do sweet tea for some reason. Once in awile on certain hot teas I can do honey. Speaking of hot tea...you mentioned citrus fruits. My favorite tea is called Constant Comment and it has orange rinds in it so it may work two ways.

Definitely let me know what works!

I won't make the tea as sweet as I usually do and with a small squeeze of fresh lemon, I think it'll work. I probably won't make it as strong as I usually to. I have family in Alabama and they love their tea sweet and strong!

Constant Comment sounds really good. I'm gonna have to buy some the next time I go to the store.

I guess I better get busy on the tea. I'll holler at ya in a bit and let ya know how it works out.

I have heard that Biotene Gum works really well. Personally, I just switch to a totally different (and possibly stronger) flavor for a few days and then go back. I like to drip juice right onto the atty and then vape until I get that dry atty taste, then just add more juice. Works well for using different flavors throughout the day.

I will definitely have to try the drop on the atty thing, too. Thanks Anne!)

I've been vaping RY4, 18mgs, and 50/50 pg/vg all day and it was beginning to lose it's caramel-ish/vanilla flavor. I just took a few sips of some slightly sweetened iced tea with a squeezed wedge of fresh lemon, and it worked. I can taste the caramel and vanilla again. I want to try the other things y'all have mentioned, too.

Parsley is a palate cleanser. That's one of the reasons it's decoration on your plate in a restaurant. So eat some parsley--it's good and good for you (and your palate).

Another great idea! Thanks!

If you're looking for a palette cleansing vape, BWB Malty is excellent. It produces monstrous amounts of vapor and the flavor is fantastic but very subtle. It's the best thing I've found for taste bud restoration.

I've been kinda Curious about that flavor. I'm gonna have to break down and get a sample size of it and give a try. Thanks!
