What makes the taste?

So I am very new to the vaping, but I just bought the kangertech K Kiss, and I am very impressed with the taste. Compared to the cigarette-shaped device I have used until now, the taste on my kangertech K Kiss is incredible.. So I want to know (I am Danish so sorry for the spelling), does the great taste come from the mod (battery) or from the tank?
The reason why I ask is that there is now adjustable air on the tank, but I don't want to buy a new tank if I loose the great taste...

Its a big shock compared to the ciggy looking devices that use crap juice. Its only going to get better depending on how far your willing to go. Rebuilding puts you on a new plateau of vape quality then enhance it with DIY juices and you entering the vape nirvana. I started with those lousy setups and now we're lovin the vape Welcome to the vape world and enjoy the vape, its as good as you want it to be.

As has been mentioned the Atomizer is where the flavor is produced as long as it is a good e-Liquid. With an adjustable Voltage/Wattage/Temperature MOD you also must have it set right because with too much power or to high wattage you will experience a good e-Liquid tastes bad. Sort of like the dreaded Dry Hit you hear about.

Just one persons opinion and remember that taste is subjective. What one person thinks is the most amazing flavor other find to taste like dishwater!
