Ordered some 100 % VG - 36 mg Nic from Wizard and I plan on vaping it at around 28-32 mg after dilution, doing this to reduce the number of Puffs ( vape less ) and still get the level of Nic in my bloodstream that satisfies the need.

anyone do this or are there better alternatives ?

... I feel like I'm not getting enough Nic in me ( compared to a cigarette )

I Currently Use :

MVP V2
Pro tank 2
24 mg of 100% VG , No flavoring
very small amount of water
At 7.5 Watts
* Ave about 340-400 puffs per day

Thanks !

When I quite smoking I started at 24mg and would supplement that with 30mg. As my body got accustom to not smoking, that high of a nicotine content started to get real harsh on my throat so I cut down to 75pg/25vg/18mg then noticed after a while the harshness started creeping back so I switched to 50/50/18mg. Now a few months later I'm seeing some harshness again so I think I'm ready for 50/50/12mg.

So if your a recent ex-smoker I think you will see the same thing happening which is actually a good thing.

My suggestion is stay with the 24mg and mix a small batch of 36 and use that very moderitly and only when you have bad cravings and stay with the 24mg as the main vape.

When I first started vaping supplementing 30mg I was completely off cigarettes within 2 weeks

billowing clouds at 36mg. just not chain vaping like i did smoking. still rather new. hoping to reduce nic a little at some point. just not at the cost of increasing time wasted with one hand useless.

one benefit to stinkies. they did cradle in the mouth easily freeing up the hands... at least when they weren't burning the eyes.

24mg first three weeks
18 for a year
15 ever since

Tried 12mg early this year and didn't get da 'lung fill'. Might give it another try soon. I'll definitely keep some 15mg around just in case.

BTW, smokin' history in sig line...

I vape between 3mg and 6mg depending on device/atomizer. 6mg for tank atomizers and 3mg for the dual coil drippers.

Way back in 2010 I started with 36mg and have been moving down ever since. Personally I wasn't trying to ween off, it just got to a point where my current nic level was almost too much (random nic sickness, throat irritation, etc.) so I'd drop a level and all was good.

As Harlen put it, you didn't get hooked in a day! I've been at it for years :pervy:

haven't thought of that since it last happened ... I sure don't miss that burning watery eye feeling.

As for nicotine level ... I quickly dropped down to 12mg within a week and am doing just fine staying off smokes :2cool:

18 mg
I started out with 18 mg two years ago, and I have remained at 18 mg.
15 or 16 is ok too, if I buy a liquid that does not come in 18. But mostly I make my own liquids, I just buy some as a treat sometimes, such as "apple cider" (yummy)

I do consume less liquid now than when I started out. :)
Oh and I use ready-made atomizers. I heard that people who make their own coils often use less nicotine.

Lung fill or throat hit was always a problem with reducing NIC. Also going form 15 to 12 is a big difference when it comes to throat hit. I found what helps in compensating is to use a higher PG content when lowering NIC and what may also help is using a small amount of koolata. As Koolata is a tasteless cooling agent the coolness can mimic throat and lung hit without introducing the unwanted taste of menthol, peppermint or any other minty taste.
