What mod to buy for sub ohm.

I want to buy my son in law a new mod for Christmas. He builds his own and needs a mod that will :
vv/vw (about 30w)
regulated
Sub ohm to .4
18650 battery
able to fit most rba/rda
and I think he wants one that will show him the battery life and the ohms? I am hoping not to spend a fortune... any suggestions?

Define "not a fortune". There is a ton of options out there for high powered regulated devices these days that all fall into your/his wish list.

The elvt 2.0 goes up to 30 can sub ohm down to .3ohm when u hit fire button shows ur battery level and u can cheack ur ohms reading on the mod. Has an adjustable pin so u can use most tanks on i. It's ego/510 threaded bought mine off fasttech for like $55. It does use a single 18650 battery

I've got a Cloupor 30w that works from .3 - 3 ohms. It tells the battery life and reads ohms. Great device! Been using it about 7 months with no complaints. It will work with anything that's 510 threaded.

ETA... I paid $80 for the Cloupor at a local shop.

30W isn't a whole lot of wattage if you're sub-ohming down to .4 (at least in my opinion).

Have you looked into the IPV3/Sigelei 100W?

Just a heads up, fastech was suggested, if you want it for Christmas, you might want to order whatever you decide on, on a more local level. Shipping from China can take awhile. I've heard 6 weeks delivery time can be standard from them. No prejudice, just a heads up.

It's a mechanical box mod, a "bottom feeder". Non regulated. They aren't cheep but well worth every penny. You could make it a Christmas and Birthday gift.

After getting a LP Reo Grand all of my other mods just collect dust. Well all of them except for the other Reo I just had to pick up.

LOL.... yeah, I heard them too!! I had to tune that noise out. I've given Rob a small fortune over the past month!!


A woody is in the future though.
