I currently have the EGo. I LOVE IT. But i am wanting to try another starter kit to compare since ive never tried a different ecig. I always hear people say they love the 510, and mine has 510 compatible parts so i was thinking of going that route but before i made a decision i wanted to get some advice on what everyones favorite is!

thanks everyone!

buy the Bloog MaxFusion. The 510 will not show you anything different other than short battery life. BTW, I have all 3.

I would highly suggest a 901. It's my personal favorite. Not everyone loves it, but it seems to be the other go-to-guy so to speak. Honestly, you could just get a 510-901 adapter and a 901 atty and try it out. Cheap investment and if you don't like, throw your parts in the classifieds for cheap and recoup some of your hard earned cash ;)

+1 simply getting adapters to try different attys and cartos with different threading. The eGo batt is a good platform for that. If you find a particular atty/carto that you like and you want slim batts for it... you can always pick those up later.

If you like the eGo (I do as well) look at he CigEasy Go-Go Kit. While not a 501 based unit it is like a super eGo and has a mega cart. Great price for the kit and super fast service. There is a thread in the review forum about it. I really like it!

Seems like the Go-Go is an eGo clone with 808D1/901 threading instead of 510 threading? If that's right, probably a decent bigger battery option for 901 atty fans.

Obviously, no uniformity of opinion here. That's because there are so many good choices. It depends on what you want at this time, e.g., what you find missing in your eGO – the "if only..." factor(s) ... and on your budget.

  • If you wish your eGO packed more punch, try LR attys. If you wish it had more mAh, get a bigger eGO or one of its 900+ mAh competitors.

  • If you like your current eGO battery, but are curious about:

– Other atomizers, get a 306, 901, and 801-compatible (with $1 adapters from GoodProphets for the last two attys mentioned). If you fall in love with one or more of those, you could pursue packages designed around them.

Cartomizers, start by visiting NHaler, which has a huge selection of all different types. Even if you choose to purchase elsewhere, it's a great place to get ideas: kinda like a department store.

  • If you want something smaller and thinner, then indeed the new MaxX Fusion is a good choice.

  • If smooth, rich taste in a much longer fat batt than your eGO sounds good, I also recommend the Leo.

And then there is the land of mods: even vaster than the burgeoning land of fat batts. To begin your exploration there, my Mods Buyers Guide might be a helpful starting place. Although some of the new ones are missing (e.g., Infinity, ProVari, Darwin) it explores this world using seven parameters: Shape*, Size, Voltage*, mAh, Juice-fed, Switch (position and feel), and Price*. It could help you sort out your wants and needs at this point and the best way to fulfill them.

* The Big Kazoo, for example, is box shaped, 5V, inexpensive.

Most important: Enjoy the adventure!
