I bought some big bottles of juices that I ended up not liking, but I don't consider it a waste because I mix them with other juices and make them tolerable. Like your vanilla--unless it has a really bad aftertaste that you just can't stand (I had a vanilla like this that I had to throw out) you can always add a little of it to other juices to change their taste a bit. I bought some tobacco flavors when I started because I was positive I would only want something that tasted like my beloved cigs and I hated all of them, but by doctoring them with sweet flavored juices, I can vape them happily.

Also, that vanilla that you hate will change in taste after it has steeped for a few weeks plus your taste buds will change as you get farther and farther from your quit date so you might end up liking the taste later on. That bottle of vanilla that made me feel ill was the only bottle of juice I've ever thrown out. The rest, even the ones I don't like very much, are steeping in my drawer and will be retried and remixed until they are usable.

My biggest mistake was filling too many tanks and clearos at once. I ended up with a sticky leaky mess and wasted a bunch of juice. Now I try to keep the number of tanks I have running at once to less than ten and I rubber band them to my juice bottles so I know what's in them. It's easy to change out flavors that way.

Ha ha ha @ikeprof

I unscrewed a clearomizer and shook out the e-liquid in a trash can. The silicone gasket slipped off the top post and fell also into the trash.

I didn't realize that and filled up the clearo full with juice. On the first hit, 2.4ml poured right on my leg.

I got in my car, drove right to the Brick and Mortar store and bought my first locking DCT tank.

Typed on my mobile. Please excuse typos.

i just bought the version S808D model. The cartridges come in a package and you screw them on the tip of the battery.
I guess its a real cheap version I have no clue but It still helps even though i get mouthfuls of liquid each day.
I am curious what kind of device you are using? In my opinion you shouldnt be getting any juice in your mouth if all is working correctly. Sometimes condensation will build up near or in the mouthpiece or drip tip, I routinely wipe and keep this area dry.

My few mistakes were. Buying a blu starter kit, but it got me off cigarettes and I still have time to return it. I think I made up for it by going right to the VAMO and not buying twists and deciding later I wanted a true variable voltage / wattage device. I also spilled juice from my clearomizer by unscrewing the plastic from the base even though I noticed the center wasn't spinning. On the VAMO it covers the base so you have to choice but to unscrew from the plastic. If your using a clearomizer you will see when your running low and can add more. With a cartomizer you can't tell as easy and run the chance of burning them. I've noticed on my ce5 once it gets to .2 ml the wicking can't keep up on higher wattage.

I'm just one those people that has try everything out to find outfor myself. Mainly I kept buying clearos even when I decided I liked Pyrex glass because a lot people are happy with them and I didn't want to miss out and figured they could come in handy. I just don't use them. And then I dry burned a $20 atty to death. It seemed to be taking a lot of dry burns so I stacked two 18350 batteries to try speed things up....I have to say it tried to hang in there awhile too. And I always mention shaking juice before loading up. Too long a story. Just remember to shake it so you you don't get raunchy hits from way too much nicotine.

My newbie mistakes would be only buying one clearomizer when I got my Ego. It broke on me right when I had to pickup the kids at school and my vape shop is an hour by bus across town. I ended up grabbing a few analogs from my neighbor. Just about made me wanna vomit. Thank god my local vape shop is open late and I picked up another one that night. Still not learning my lesson I only bought one and misplaced it last Friday. Thankfully I had some Kanger T3's on order and my wife had a 4081 gas station type in my stocking that she let me have early. Moral of the story is that I have a nice stash of Clearos an E liquid in my cupboard and 2 batteries on hand. In fact as I type this my ego died on me as I wanted to run it all the way down so I'm vaping some fire and ice in my backup 4081. Be prepared out there.

Been vaping for 10 days now. Started with an NJoy disposable, which impressed me enough to do some research that night and buy a Smokeless Image Volt start kit. I stuck with the NJoy disposables until the Volt kit arrived. Since I was happy with the NJoy, you can imaging how much better I like the Volt. I've certainly made a bunch of newb mistakes by now, and I've got plenty in my future. At this point, I'm in that blissful state where I'm utterly unaware of the fact that much of what I'm doing may be a already be mistake.

Except that with me, it's true.

Yeah, I read your sig.

Yeah, those stupid eGo's still make me mad enough to include them in the sig. They say NOT to recommend the ProVari to newbies, but in my case I wasn't able to get a decent vape until I had the ProV with an RBA. Which is why I agreed with you, as that is what I was going to say.

Biggest newbie mistakes: Blu, 510's and eGos. Wish someone had told me to just buy the ProVari and get it over with, I would have saved literally HUNDREDS of dollars which I would have promptly spent on something more reliable! My apocalypse stash needs another mechanical ;)
