Not for the overly squeamish......

So, a few hours ago at work, one of my employees went to the back and grabbed her purse.

Her contacts were dry, and she wanted some eye-drops...

The trouble, was that her eye drops were in a 30ml dropper bottle that looked just like the 30ml dropper bottle from vaporrenew that I had just given her.

Yeah. She plopped a drop of 24mg Vanilla Bean in her eye.

Normally, I'd have to write somebody up for using language at work like what she used, but under the circumstances......

The bottle was labeled, and so was her eye drop bottle. Sadly, she way in a hurry and the overall color value was practically identical between the two labels.

Just for the record, she's fine. Guess I should have mentioned that to begin with; funnier that way. Once she'd spent a minute at the eye-wash station, and put in about half a bottle of REAL eye drops, she was just fine.

And yeah, stung like hell. I used to do construction, so strong language doesn't really even register for me; but she let out a blue streak like you wouldn't believe.

It burns! I have rubbed my eye without thinking while filling a cart. Just that little film of juice on your finger can register immediately! It washes out quickly, though. I like the way that ejuice dissolves immediately in water. A drop in the sink from blowing out an atty disappears quickly when you hit it with a stream of water.

I find nothing funny about this. I use peppers an awful lot when cooking and most always end up rubbing an eye and end up burning for awhile. That crap hurts. I do have gloves, but can't stand to wear them. I have never done this with e-liquid and pray I don't. Poor girl, give her a case to put her liquids in.

After she'd had time to rinse well and put in some real eye drops, even she thought it was funny.

I think it's funny that I once shot myself in the hand with a nail gun. Obviously, it wasn't funny at the time.

I don't think that is funny either! LOL at me.
I just know what it feels like to have my eyes burn, not being ugly to you or anything.
I could never laugh-got this eye thing going on-well pain in such a way that causes, well...pain.
We all have different threash holds mine is different and less when it comes to the eyes.

Ouch, ouch, double ouch. As an ex contact wearer (finally did lasik last year), and as a vaper, I can totally sympathize with her. Just a drop on the finger then rubbing the eyes is anything but pleasant.

Just our of curiosity: It's well known that nicotine can be absorbed through the skin, and I would think even more so through fluid in the eye. Aside from the burning, did she have any side effects? I'm thinking like nicotine overdose symptoms like headache, dizziness, nausea, racing heartbeat?

Haha @ the habaneros! My dad did that same thing with jalapenos... made salsa and then went to the bathroom... he said more curse words then I think I had EVER heard in my young life (at the time). Then the ..... did the same thing again (many years later), except after chopping jalapenos, he and my mother decided to do the deed preceded by foreplay , my mom said she never cried so hard in he life... OUCH!

As for the juice in the eye, hasn't happened to me yet, but I can't imagine that kind of pain!!!
