Right now I have the tank off my Totally Wicked Tornado RCS which is IDENTICAL to the iSmoka BCC or BCC Mega tank

Sits on the beauty ring like it was made for it! and at 3.5ml I can vape ALL DAY LONG!

Protank, Protank 2, Mini Protank and Mini Davide.

Honestly, my favorite is the mini Protank. The 510 threading in the vamo is just too soft and, since the base of the protank is never flush with the top ring (Vamo 2), leverage on the tank has really worked those threads. The minis, of course, attach via EGO threading which is much more secure and less susceptible to leverage.

I had the same concern. I now use the beauty ring under the Protank and there's no instability issues. If you've got a V3, remove the top cap, thread on the beauty ring, then thread the Protank on. Once the Protank is on, adjust the beauty ring until its right up to the Protank.

After that, I take off the Protank, move the beauty ring up a 1/4 turn or so, but the Vamo's top cap back on then put the Protank on.

Took me about 5x longer to type it than to actually do it.

Funny, I just did the exact same thing with my v3 and protanks yesterday.
Works great.
I fooled with an oring under the beauty ring, between it and the body of the vamo to set the spacing.
Worked good, but I had to try out about 10 different sizes before I found one that would work.
It's not necessary, but in the end it simplified things.

I have an original Protank on my V2 right now but with one of the newer bases. These make for a tighter draw but alas! evod short heads no longer work properly. But it's a Protank, and with a Protank head it works imho much better than it did with the original base. With this set-up an air-flow regulator is no longer necessary - which is nice. :)

Same result here. Since the threads from the original base broke off a few months ago, I'm glad to report that the new bases are much more durable and perform better than the originals that came with the PT1.
