Hey all,

what mod(s) can I look into that will fire regulated below 3.7 volts at a build less than 1 Ohm .

For some reason I think I would enjoy a vape with .6 or .7 ohm minimum built with available power of lets say 2.5 -4.0 Volts .

Most of the mods I come across either dont allow for subohm vaping or don't allow for vaping below 3.7 volts.

Any ideas ?

The DNA boards don't do step-down, so you can't vape any lower than your current battery voltage.

Not true. You can get down to 3.5-3.7v on fresh batteries with various genuine DNA boards. Too many people talking from a lack of experience.

The OP has been asking this around and seems to refuse to learn how to solve his own problem.

+dr g you are simply wrong about getting 3.5 volts on a fresh battery with a genuine DNA board. Please point that part out of me in the manual. You can achieve this voltage to your coils by draining your batteries to this point and then firing a coil build of which is too low for the DNA TO STEP DOWN AND it WILL ALLOW YOU TO FIRE OFF ITS OWN BATTERY.

The chip is a joke. And it's reputation of being the best chip in the market is being rapidly erased lately. If they don't rapidly change their chip and their business partners who insist on charging exorbitant prices they will be bye bye - just look around.

I have noted and not hidden I have asked a couple times. Sometimes by the nature of the forum you get different and more people to respond to the same question if you repost at different times. Have found the need to do that Especially when I have received false information such as yours. I think after years of helping people thru private messages, in person, and on forums I have the right to not be perfect and ask my questions the way I want to.

What discipline do you have your md in ?

The DNA's reputation as the best chip pretty much has been erased at this point - the Yihi boards totally outshine them, the fact that most of the soldering is done when you get the SX350 is also a major plus point.

Evolv's next board will have step down, don't really have a clue as to why the 20's and the 30's didn't have it in the first place.

Soldering is not a plus point to anyone but builders, and even then that's simply a question of who you are paying for assembly. There are a lot of aspects to chip design, some not so obvious.

Evolv's next board will have step down, don't really have a clue as to why the 20's and the 30's didn't have it in the first place.

Mainly because they were designed long before Yihi ever existed and created a generation of users that can't comprehend the concept of resistance being a means and not an end.

Evolv is pretty much the only company doing real innovation in the industry. The Yihi chips are in violation of their patent(s).

Everything I have said is 100% true and if you don't know or understand it, that's part of your problem. You steadfastly refuse to match your coils appropriately to your regulator, and wonder why you get bad results.

Sorry Mr Patronizing,

We're fully able to comprehend the idea of resistance.

We're also able to comprehend that it's great to be able to adjust your wattage/voltge down as well as building your coils at a certain resistance.

The Yihi boards totally rock - and you know it.

Speak for yourself, the OP clearly does not understand it. Every regulator has a performance envelope.

No interest in building them, honestly.

I am extremely knowledgable and you have NEVER explained how you can vape a DNA 30 at 3.5 volts on a fresh battery??? I have asked you in another thread and you ignore. All you do is keep stating we are all inexperienced and it can be done. So PLEASE, share with the world how you achieve this amazing feat of vaping at 3.5 volts with a FRESH 4.2v battery on a DNA chip with specs that only go to 4v.

If you can not explain, PLEASE stop saying this all over the place and misguiding other vapers. Would love a video or a pic also.
