Ok - so sx350 chip is ideal - what devices use this chip ?

The SX330 comes in 3 versions. One, V1 under 50 watts, I think 30, V2, 50 watts, and V3, 100 watts. The V1 and V2 boards do not have buck, step down, circuits but the V3 does. sigelei is just coming out with an 100 watt mod with dual 18650s for around $100,

The SX350 is designed as a modder's board and I do not think there are any high volume manufacturers using them. There is a facebook group, Sx350 mods and box mods for sale, that lists modders that will make mods for you. The other option is to make one yourself.

If you do build a sx350 mod I think the original spec said 16 guage wire but in order to go to 60 safely you need to step up to 14 guage wire.

The SX350 has come with 20 gauge wires up to this point, but new boards built from now on will have 16 guage wires. Yihi found out that the 20 gauge wire was too small when they increased the max wattage to 60 watts from 50 watts. I have one of these boards with the 20 gauge wires and will be replacing the wires to 16 gauge so I can do the 60 watt program download. They plan to go all the way up to 80 watts in the future.
