This is weird, K4 works for you? No harsh draw from the K4?

No harsh draw here on K4, but I've no previous kayfun experience to compare it to. I've read loads of threads here on K4 tho, and yours is the first I have read complaining of harsh draw. Which is why I didn't recommend K4 to you initially.

You tried a 3mm coil?

Yessir, in fact currently im using 3mm 22 gauge 5 wraps coil.. Still makes me cough, better flavor but still no kfl quality flavor, and no kfl doesnt makes me cough.
Do you know why vapes sometimes makes ppl cough, im trying to find the logic there so maybe i can found what is wrong with my K4, its an excellent piece of device, but somehow its incompatible with me

Do you have the S-kit for the V4? If not you're probably vaping burnt insulator which would explain the harsh hit. Even so I find the best vape from my V4 comes from coil built around 2 ohm with 28 gauge wire.

2ohm? How many wraps is it on 28 gauge, i dont have any 28, i got 26 plenty of em.. How about the airflow? Open wide? I still feel this problem rooted from my airflow settings..

I have been vaping for 1.5 years. Tried all kinds of RTAs but I am like you and I love the KFL+. I am not sure why you would want to get away from something that you like just to try something different. I was using 4 EHPros (3 V2's and a V1) but I found a replacement base from Fasttech that is much superior in airflow than the EHPro. You should give one a try. I dumped all of my other ones and now have 8 of these.

Thank you all for the replies.
I just found something strange, i was messing up with my other tanks, cleaning them up, and gonna store them up in a good place, when suddenly i've found my first ecig, the nautilus aspire, i had this one last spare coil i bought years ago, i fill it up with the same juice my kfl+ had, set the wattage for 15.5 watt and fire the 2 ohm coil (should be 1.8, somehow my mod says 2.0), and it was AMAZING! Sure my KFL+ was amazing also but this is on par if not slightly better, i dont really know what is happening, but the juice is so flavorful and theres this sweet taste on my throat the kfl doesnt give no matter what wattage im using.
I'm gonna build a coil exactly like the nautilus on my kfl and will compare it soon.
I havent touch the nautilus again since i bought my kfl and my nautilus used to run with itaste vv, now that i have vs dna40 it feels different.
As i stated before im strictly mouth to lung hitter and i chase flavor, was it well known that these nautilus tanks are supposed to give that much flavor ? Am i missing something ?
