The e-cig kiosk is in front of the Apple store (that I frequent TOO often) in the mall. I watched the sales guy vape from a distance on several visits. My husband (never smoked, lost his father to lung cancer) encouraged me to try it but didn't hassle me about it. He weathered a number of my cold-turkey quit attemps over the years, bless his heart. I was afraid to do much research online. I assumed big tobacco would be shredding ecigs. I didn't want to get discouraged. I made a special trip to the mall to make the purchase and $190 later I was the proud user of a Smoke51 Trio kit. My intent was to use the ecig where I couldn't smoke and cut back a little. On the third day I realized I hadn't smoked a cigarette all day. I was amazed - going from 1 to 1-1/2 PAD 20-yr habit to no cigarettes. The guy at the mall told me one carto was like a pack of cigarettes (I hate that lie more than any other in the industry!) and it scared me since I was using 3 or 4 a day. The pre-filled were $4 each. I didn't know what e-juice/liquid was. I was spending more on vaping than smoking but I sure felt better. Each day it seemed I was getting less satisfaction. I searched CraigsList and found a college student selling his mods - a 5v GLV2 and a 6v Omega. I bought them both. He met me at Starbucks and was gracious with his time and knowledge. A month or two later I found ECF. I'll celebrate 7 months tobacco-free this month.

I'm on a quest to help 50 people make the switch locally. I don't dog anyone but when approached I'm eager to help. I make a point of vaping everywhere because I love it and to arouse curiosity. I keep extra kits and supplies on hand so there's no wait time for someone wanting to give it a try. It's not a business. It's a lifestyle and a cause. I share them at cost or lend them a PV until theirs arrives. So far 21 people have switched to vaping 100%. I don't mind the emails and calls with questions. I send them to ECF and cut and paste posts from Dormouse, WomanOfHeart and Swedishfish. There aren't many questions those three haven't answered. I'm incredibly grateful to be a non-smoker and to experience others taking the journey.

Hi Folks,

Here's my story. I have known about the existence of electronic cigarettes for a few years already through good old Google and have always wanted to try vaping to help me quit smoking. I have been smoking for 29 years and until recently, I can consume 2 packs a day.

E-cigarettes attracted my attention and I always wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, there's always something more urgent to spend for so years have past and I still haven't vaped a single puff. Then, there came a day when some broken glass hit my foot and when I went to the hospital for medical attention, lo and behold! I'm a freaking diabetic!

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes on the 21st of April this year and immediately the day after, first thing in the morning, I got me an eGo. I was off work due to my wounded foot and already made plans to fire away with DVD's the entire day. And so I did. I charged my eGo a little the moment I got home (it has a pass-through function) and started vaping away! before I knew it, it was night time and I almost finished a bottle of e-juice. Then and only then did I notice I was vaping way too much and I had to stop and call it a day.

The next moring, when I woke up, my unfinished pack of analogs and my lighter was right beside my breakfast and guess what... I did not feel like touching it. I liked vaping way too much over cigarettes that I was successful in quitting smoking in just one day.

That was it! Up to now, I have not smoked a single stick of analogs and I owe it all to vaping. The only problem is, I started buying everything in sight! First, the eGo, then I got another eGo, then I got a DSE905 Screwdriver, then a Boge Revolution V2.1, then an ECI that attracted me because of the digital readout, battery and tank meter and # of puffs, and it doesn't end there. I suddenly had the urge to try HV vaping so I got an Indulgence V2, which hooked me up real bad so I got a GGTB. I don't think it will end there still, since now, I'm craving for an SS GGTS.

Somebody stop me!!!

That's my story. I hope I didn't bore you guys.

Thanks.

A friend of mine at work turned my on to E-cigs. I just started about three weeks ago. It took my about 7 to 10 days but I'm off analogs for good.

I have been spending a god-awful amount on cigs for me and the members of my family who smoke. Enough is enough and now I don't let any friends who smoke do it inside my house and we have all either quit (or like me are now vaping full time). It hasn't been that long yet, only about 13 days totally off but I don't even doubt about regular cigs. I am totally off of them. Every day that passes I'm not spending $27.00 on cigs. I can't tell you all what a strain that was.

This has been a life saver.

I'm new to vaping but everyone has a story. I've been a pack a day smoker for almost the last 15 years. Stopped at a truck stop before work to grab my smokes and a soda. I saw the little display for an electronic cigarette and didn't really think much about it. I liked my smokes. I started thinking one night about how out of shape I am and how I need to quit smoking. People close to me don't like when I attempt to quit because, from what I'm told, I become a raging a**hole.

I decided to try those e-cigs at the truck stop a few weeks later. That lasted about a week when one of the guys I work with turned me onto GreenSmoke. I did the math and it was still cheaper than analogs. The taste is okay and it's convenient. Started doing research for a better experience and stumbled across a few youtubers that opened my eyes to things. Did some more research and ordered a bunch of stuff to get me properly vaping. I've been off of analogs for about three weeks now but not entirely besides the last few days. I haven't really felt the need. Yippee for me.

I ordered myself a ProVari, some extra cartos, drip tips and a variety of juices from different vendors. They should be here by the end of the week. My GreenSmokes will hold me over for the time being. But if I enjoy it as much as I think I will, I'm going to have to get another kit to use at work because I don't think the GS's will cut it after my new set-up. Luckily, I'm only a drive away from Kalamazoo and the guys at KVS. I like meeting new people. E-commerce is great but I prefer a more personal setting and I hear good things about them.

I'm rambling.

I'm just glad I found the ECF before I gave up and went back. From what I've read, everyone seems pretty straight forward around here. Slightly opinionated on some issues, but otherwise, good peoples. I like it here and I think I'll stick around.

You've been warned...

I saw a woman using an ecig in a theatre and was instantly jealous. I have been a pack a day smoker since I was 15, and have tried to quit several times, to no avail. I bought the eGo after coming on here and seeing all the reviews- unfortunately, the juice was god-awful, and it was hard for me to switch. So I came on the forum again, saw some juice reviews, and got some better flavors. For the first week, I put on a nicotine patch every day, and switched between analogues and vaping. After two weeks, I was down to 7 cigarettes a day. I decided to go down to five, but found that I was thinking about tobacco too much if I did that. So I threw out my last pack of analogues and got on a low-nicotine juice so I could vape constantly. During this whole time, I was also pushing myself physically- working out, running, biking, none of which I've been able to do for a few years because of smoking. Last week I took the patch off, and am now vaping 6mg. I just bought some 0mg so I'll be able to get the last of the nicotine out of my system. ECigs have saved my life, and I must say its been a great goal to have while unemployed!

Browsing around one of those online stores in china, I came across a very inexpensive dual m402 kit for less than $11. Ordered that and THEN found ECF. Read till my eyes bled and couldn't wait for my cheapie to arrive so I bought a dual Joye510 kit from the US. After blowing out the primer and taking a couple of drags I thought, "Hmm. This just might work!". Smoked like 3 analogs that day (vaping at 18mg). Smoked 1 the next day and increased the nic to 24mg and when that sucka hit... I said "YESSS! This IS gonna work!".

I'm in 3 1/2 weeks and since lowered my nic to 12mg and it's been THE best way I've experienced to quit smoking (I'd tried everything and had quit for 1 1/2 year with the patch, but I was back with a vengeance until now!).

So I ended my 23 year romance with tobacco (cigs, and cigars) and currently puff on a box of double-A's with a big ol' pushbutton switch, freaky colorchanging LED light and 510 atty and cart exhaling a cloud of mint chocolate mist.
Ain't technology grand?

I have been using e-cigs for several years now. My story is probably the most common. I heard a radio advert that promised everything and delivered very little. I did however fall in love with the idea. So I tried several different companies that overcharged and under delivered. But I wasn't going to give up.

It seems that the product is getting better and better every month. And I am loving every puff now.

When I think back to all the money I spent on bad e-cigarettes I never think I wasted money because of where I am at now. But if I would have just found EFC sooner....

The cutest couple easily in their 60's or 70's were at the flea market selling the e-cig kits. I had heard of the e-cig in the past and believe me i have tried absolutely EVERYTHING, gum, candies, pills, inhalers, patches to quit smoking. The little ol lady asked me if I would like to try it and I was absolutely sold! I now own 2 e-cig kits (one for home and one for the office) and ordered a 510 for poops and giggles because it got good reviews LOL!! I love it..i don't stink..i can have a discrete puff after dinner and not have to rush outside to smoke, I can keep my place on the beach without having to pack up for a smoke fix, and i don't have any fears or hesitations booking a long flight overseas and exploring what the world has to offer! I need to buy a share in any Canadian suppliers..this is the way of the future!

I've told this story here before, but as a bookkeeper I have to account for all expenditures on my clients accounts..to determine whether or not they are business related. I asked a client about a payment to "Vapor Kings" or something, thinking it might be related to his business as a roofer insatalling a vapor barrier or something. He pulled out his E-cig and showed me what it was all about. I began my investigation the same day, and was off analogs within a week of getting my first kit. Unfortunately, the payment he made was not a business deduction for him, but it was a great way for him to save on medical care in the future, and also made a change in my life. Since then, I have also influenced another client to give vaping a try. Pay it forward!

my mom and dad decided to try it and got the Safe-Cig. to be honest the fact that the cost was high and the favor sucked i just kept with analogs. then my long time friend came for a visit from HI and he had a Joye 510 mega. i tryed his and was floored by the hit and flavor(cappuccino). i then spent the next 4 days of my off time doing research to find out what was right for me. i finally decided on a standard Joye 510. it took me some time to get used to it and i still smoked analogs just as regularly. then i got better juice and vaped allot more. it has ben about 4 months so far and I'm down to 3 analogs a day. when someone else is smoking a analog it smells bad and bothers my sinuses.

Well I had serious health issues when I read an article about these " e-cigs". Doing some more research on the internet i found a forum and was advised to get an ego-t, which i did. The egos enabled me to cut my consumption of 45 cigs to about 5 per day. My health improved drastically and I hope to quit smoking by the end of this month.
