What scares you???

Most of the time it's cancer but there's other things that lurk in the family medical history.
What scares you?

Me? My mom had this rare condition (form of cancer) where her white blood cells overtook her red. Literary, the white cells ate her from the inside out.
Now my sister has come up with a offshot of this very same disease. TG that they now have a treatment.

I have a phobia. Its almost debilitating. Of course I'm not going to say what it is..

But phobias suck... seriously.

So in the interest of not derailing the thread..
I fear... cancer is a pretty good one on the depressing side.
On the not depressing side, I fear Ninjas.

I fear full hearing loss (not as scary as cancer). I lhave lost 70%of my hearing, and currently where hearing aids. I am also STILL an active musician, and I do not want to give that part of my life up. I now play by vibration of my instrument, and the use of a FM system (an external microphone that sends sound directly to my hearing aids.

I know that I am very fortunate compared to some of my friends who have a complete loss, but I hope that doesn't happen to me. I would really miss hearing my wife, and my music.

Hi everyone, I am Debbi. I look forward to sharing stories and chatting with everyone. Hopefully, we can offer support and/or help one another. I have relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, what scares me the most is developing progressive multiple sclerosis which could happen at any time.

All I know is the basics. Luckily, I don't know anyone who has MS. I do know it can be a bear and I'm so glad you found us and that I, and other members can be here for you!!!
