What should I need to know about my Hana mod clone?

I recently purchased myself a Cana Mod (Hana mod clone). I have only been vaping for about 2 months, and I realize this is a huge step up for me. I have myself an mvp2, and vv3, so again, I realize this is a big step up. I also purchased a sony vtc5 18650 battery. My friend also ordered one of these mods, and hes kinda stepping me through the process. He is a veteran within the vape world, rebuilds his own coils, owns probably a dozen mods including mech mods etc. So even though I have him to help me out, he cant be there to always hold man hand with this stuff. But here comes my question.

I read alot with mech mods that your battery can drop out while vaping if you are not careful, and this can end up becomming dangerous. With the Hana mod clone, I know its regulated, so do I need to worry about this?

Second question. I also really only use stock coils, right now I have a bunch of ts3 tanks, a nautilus, and an iclear30. I generally use stock coils because I always hate having my friend build them for me. Will this be an issue, if I vape at 30 watts, because I LOVE the warmth you get from vaping at such a high amount. And if I can do it, will I get full flavor, or because stock coils are a little ....ty, will it be a burt taste?

And finally, (Sorry for the lengthy message) is there anything else I should be aware of. Something my friend would not think to advise me about. Any and all advice appreciated. I already ordered the mod, and this is me taking a major leap in, so I will appreciate any advice.

The VTC5 is a great battery, and yes, with a regulated DNA30 mod, you should be safe. It won't fire if you're not in good shape there.

As far as your tanks, you're definitely going to get burnt juice at 30 watts. Most of them will top out around 8 or 9, although a few can handle a little more. If you want to vape that high, you're going to need to get an RBA and learn to build coils for it. Check out the rebuildable atomizers subforum here on ECF and check out some videos on youtube. It's actually pretty darn easy and quite a bit cheaper than buying replacement coils for your tanks over and over again.

Honestly, I can't really think of anything else you'll need to know. The DNA chips won't regulate the voltage down below 3.7, so depending on your atomizer resistance, you won't be able to vape lower than 7 or 8 watts, but it doesn't sound like that's an issue for you.
