What size should I have my air hole drilled too?...

I am about to get into rebuilding for the first time and decided to get an Igo-L... the place i'm buying it from offers a service that will drill the air hole out to 5/64 (1.98mm) or 3/32 (2.38mm)... was curious to as which I should choose. Every video that I have seen suggests making the air hole bigger... any input would be nice...

I've no idea what size you need, but remember that when you double the hole size, you also quadruple the area and air flow. As steved says, you can't drill it smaller.

Well, I've heard of devices that limit airflow. If one of them would work with your rig, I guess you could take a chance on drilling oversize and then restricting the airflow.

depends on the ohms of your build. The higher watts vaped at the more air is needed. Don't have your rda, but on the Magma with a 0.32 ohm build, I have it at dual 3 mm air holes, when same rda was built at 0.54 ohms, needed to restrict the air by almost half. Go small, then as your builds progress and you need more air, can always drill it bigger. That's why I prefer rba's with air control, so one can easily adjust the amount of air needed.

I just plan on building single coil setups...

Like dice said, it depends on the resistance of your builds. I drilled my Igo-L to 2.5 mm for builds down to about 0.6 ohms. That means I'm doing lung hits, but at 0.6 ohms you need to do that or it's a waste of battery power for no gain.

If you're building between 0.8 - 1.2 ohms I suggest 2mm. If you're going higher than that try it stock. There is also a personal preference factor in this. And don't forget, you can't drill it smaller :)

I am sort of a techie and offering you only two sizes is kindof dumb. Go to harbor freight and get the numbered drill set ( it is from 1 to 60) I think this is about $12-15 with coupon. This will give you many more than 2 sizes to work with.

Also it is true that it is hard to undrill!!
Start just larger than it is now and work up from there, and remember try it stock first to see if that is good.

ps you will need a "Pin Vise" to use the bits. DO NOT USE an electric drill unless you are very competent with it.
