I'm planning on drilling out my nimbus air holes. There's only one hole and I wanna be able to use dual could. How should I go about this? Should I drill out the hole that's there and go all the way threw so the holes are perpendicular?

I do have access to a drill press so I'm open I many methods. Thanks. Videos and pictures are appreciated

In my experience, if you're just trying to widen the holes, i would just do one at a time. If you try and go straight through and you end up moving it just a bit, you could mess it up. I would say do whatever you feel the most comfortable with.

Progressively changing the diameter of your drillbit may make it easier to drill straight through if you're attempting to make the hole significantly bigger.

I have tried the straight through method before and got two broken cobalt drill bits. Even going slow the two points of friction just snapped the bits.

I recommend starting with the smallest drill bit you have and drill out the first hole with that. Then push the drill it straight up against the inside of the nimbus and use it as a guide to mark where the other hole should be. You should be close enough that if you do it with a 1/16" you can judge it the minute bit one way or the other when using the 5/64" bit.
