Whoa. What a flashback! I remember my mother playing that song by John Denver!
I never ever made that connection before. I heard it later by John Prine.
My mom also loved Joan Baez, and when I tried to prove to her that Dylan wrote most of her songs, she was crushed because she thought he was "just a hippie". Ha ha ha. I don't think she ever forgave me for giving her that information.

Hawaii! Yay haha
I miss George and Roy, somehow I feel Mark Knopfler would be great in the Wilburys :) Thanks for the vids, AMBKJ! :D

Here's a few more off my today-list:
stunning
John Williams is a very, very accurate classical guitar player. He comes off as sort of stiff, but this particular song is spot-on one of the best versions I've ever heard!
Chatmonchy, my all-time fave band! 3 adorable girlsPolite, very soft-spoken ladies, they earned their live performance stripes and hold a world record for qualifying to play Budokan Hall in Japan! The audience is so in tune with the song
master of guitar-spanking
http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBBzQKxUE1MI personally don't listen to this type of guitar music, but watching the video is very entertaining :)

Waa... I love anything by Santana! I am waiting for him to come to Hawaii again so I can see him perform, I missed him the last time he was here!

Two final clips to share, this first one is an unknown guitarist. I was researching this Yamaha guitar, I couldn't decide on the nylon or steel string version, but got the steel version after seeing this video. It's Ryuichi Sakamoto's song 'Energy Flow' which, I have to say, this boy does better on guitar than Ryuichi does on piano. This video is just very inspiring!
I bought this guitar

And I'm a big fan of De Lucia and DiMeola. This is a great clip of the infamous Guitar Trio (I also love DiMeola in Return To Forever with Stanley Clark, Chick Corea and Lenny White on drums!)
