This has got to be the worst article ive ever read about ecigs.

http:// www. dailymail.co.uk/health/ article-2402108/E-cigarettes-harmful-cigarettes-cause-cancer-claims-study.html

'In three models out of ten the levels of the carcinogenic compound formaldehyde come close to those of a conventional cigarette.

'The highly toxic molecule acrolein was also detected in the vapours of e-cigarettes, sometimes at levels even higher than in traditional cigarettes.'

Either this article is highly skewed or they have some new fangled way of testing that no one else in the world has ever used or seen. ...?!?!?

So, this "article" doesn't post a link to the "study" and all of the other articles it points to are of near naked politicians and celebrities...

Nice internet rag.

I know Jef, but with anything. The naysayers will grasp this and believe every word cuz they "read it on the internet" Hence why REAL proof and education needs to be in the forefront of our minds to combat stupidity like this!!

It's the Daily Mail !
Jesus H that is the most vile , racist , homophobic , right wing insidious piece of crap excuse for a news paper .
To wipe ones .... with it would be an insult to your rectum .
That paper would make Adolf's propaganda seem like a Woodstock love-in

Oh i know Oomee. Its a junk rag. But as i stated before, the masses that read that garbage will take it as gospel and spew the BS from the high heavens thinking its fact. Like so many mainstream media outlets do!!

Here's mention of the study: French Magazine Does its own Sciencing, Claims Carcinogens

Note that the study was done by a French consumer magazine, as reported by France24 news. hxxp://www. france24. com/en/20130826-electronic-cigarettes-carcinogenic-french-report (broken link)

Sounds like it's a French version of Consumer Reports. Not sure I'd place much trust in a consumer magazine's "scientific research." But hey, c'est la vie, plus ca change and so on...

The study claims to have employed an innovative method in detecting “a significant quantity of carcinogenic molecules” in the vapour of the cigarettes which, according to Laurenceau, have thus far gone undetected
