Hi Donna, I can tell you it's not an RN4081 or a DSE103. I've had those and this isn't it. It does look like a 401 to me too, but not sure.

If you got it from the mall it's probably a Smoke Everywhere POS and you just got BURNED. You probably paid around $150 for it, and could have gotten better online for around $45. Am I right?

It definately looks like Smoking Everywhere. Here is mine.

And the avatar pic is a coincidence. But I do know what your talking about. I was just in the one at MGM Grand a couple nights ago.

it looks like it may have been rebranded.. but that is definately the same model...

just as an aside.. i actually just gave one of these away to my nephew as a tester for vaping... it was my very first ever... and was still working almost a year later.. go figger

Good find Tauk, It's a cheap knock off of the 401 but I think you nailed it.

it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay pre 401.... it's one of the original badboys..

but with the improvements they've made it's become the POS these days... sadly.. OP prolly got ripped BIGTIME on it.. you can get full starter kits on ebay for anywhere between $24-$45

my favorite (looking) kit is the one in a charger casing that looks like a pack of smokes

btw... they really DO suck.. by comparison..

once i got my first 901 i almost threw it away.. it's not a bad starter for someone to toss money at just to give vaping a try... especially since they're sooooo cheap.. and oddly durable

like i said.. i had the one for almost a year... 1 survivng atomizer.. 1 surviving battery.. out of starting with two each

Most people get something like one of these(yours truly included) to try and see if vaping might work for them, I think these are just "Demo" models at best. I had the Rn4081 and while some love it, mine was crap and I sold the charger to someone and threw in the cig for parts. I have a DSE 103 and it is 10 times better after I modified it to use Dura carts.
That's my only issue with the mini's is the small carts.

Thank you guys so much for solving the mystery for me! I knew you'd shed some light... I couldn't figure out why everyone was raging about the 401 when my awful mall rendition appeared to be the same. But it's an early model or knockoff.
Hmmm.
Looking forward to trying the real thing!
And yes I think I got ripped off but I was desperate, ease magnum was out of carts.
