On Sunday I went to my Grand daughter's College Graduation. As we walked by a designated smoker's shed I almost puked when I smelled the Cigarette smoke! It was NASTY! Totally Nasty! And that was an Open Air Gazebo! I could smell the gazebo 100 feet away on the downwind side! :(

Last night as I sat at my computer doing photo editing I ran out of Spearmint juice in my Cartos, so I grabbed a freebie from my first order and started vapeing it. Good Gosh That was Horrible! :( I had grabbed a Parliment Menthol Carto with Nicotine. :( YUK! Then I grabbed another Carto. Again without looking I started to vape it. Another Yuck! It was an 18 mg. Menthol Carto!

I have been vapeing so much Nobacco that I totally Can Not Stand the tobacco flavored Cartos! And I have two 5 packs of them! :( I guess when my Ultrasonic cleaner gets here I will be cleaning a whole bunch of never used tobacco Cartos so that I can use them for my favorite flavors!

Is this normal???

Yes! That is very normal! You will learn that cigarette smoke and smokers smell bad. And your taste will change. So even if you liked the tobacco flavors at first you may or may not like them a week or two later. It works the other way around too. If you didn't like a flavor in the forst week, a month down the road you might love it! IT is very strange how these things work. But luckily we have veterans who have been through all of this and can give advice/let you know what to expect :) (not including myself in that group. I still consider myself a noob. I just know how to regurgitate what I've read a million times!)

Great job on moving forward!

Yep, your not alone GPR. I didnt like any of the ciggy type tobacco's either. I also thought 555 tasted like burnt peanuts and lighter fluid, but after a bit I went back to 555 and really liked it. It will take some time. The only flavor I liked right out of the gate was cuban cigar, but its not ciggy type tobacco tasting in my opinion

The weird ones are the ones who stick with a comparable flavor to what they used to smoke, especially if it helped them get off the cigs in the beginning.

You mean such as yourself, Hon? :)

I also find a strong tobacco flavor good for those rare occasions when I can't "taste" anything; and to me they are a must with any adult beverage!

lol....some of you guys just crack me up....lol....not to name names (Lady El, Lady Iowa, Mirage, CatMommy, et al)...ahem:blush: I love those kinds of responses:laugh:

In all seriousness now:facepalm:...I did not care for any of the tobacco flavors when I started....actually tried one and HATED it. Now however, I am finding that I do like a lot of the tobacco flavors. Tastebuds come back to life and you can actually taste a difference. I also believe in the beginning (for those that want to quit smoking ciggies and fast) it can be a mental thing....subconsciously relating the tobacco flavors with real ciggies makes it taste worse than it really is. That tobacco flavor that I HATED in the beginning.....well, I do enjoy it now.
