Im going on a week vacation shortly and am not sure what to take with me??? What do you all do for this situation?

I myself am a constant changer-upper! When I go to work i usually bring 3-5 juices and 2 mods. But by the time I get home I'm sick of those so i switch it up! This morning i have vaped 3 different juices already.

Do you guys/gals take all your gear?? Im worried that I'm going to have an atty blow and have no more and have to revert to *EEEK*Analogs*EEEk*

Let me know your thoughts.

Spares, spares and more spares :)

The last time I went, I was still pretty new to vaping, so I took a couple eGo batts, a couple 510 batts (for emergencies) a weeks worth of e-liquid in 4 different flavors (read as a month's worth of liquid). Plus a bunch of cartos and two chargers just to be safe. This was while I was on a cruise, so I had to make sure I had everything.

I'll probably do roughly the same this time, but with different stuff, my ProVari and probably the Lavatube, a bunch of batteries, and probably a couple of SD Keychains (key ring?) to take to stealth vape while out and about.

It sort of depends on how long you expect to be away. I usually have a couple mods that I use on a regular basis. My emergency pack which is a couple egos an extra atty and some juice in an eye glasses sized case. Enough juice to last me and a little more. You might need a bag full of flavors. Chargers, batts, a few extra attys, maybe a couple other setups that I have lying around. One thing, when travel distances changes in pressure can cause just about anything containing juice to leak. Best to wrap that stuff in paper towels and put it in a zip loc bag.

I carry around 2 of my most travel purse/pocket friendly mods, extra filled carto's and even a spare drip tip. For me, it works to just change the carto -- and refill it later. (Vmod2--tiny juicer--is great for travel). Though I usually use atty's, the carto's work well for me when I'm out and about -- and vacations have a lot of that. IMO fanny packs are appropriate travel/vacation gear! I'll even add in a disposable (they are tiny) for the utlimate back up.

I also pack a nicer mod -- mostly for use in the hotel, and a couple of atty's to use with it. I always end up throwing in plenty of juice selection (double bagged) too. And, don't forget -- batteries. I take a 4 bay charger, too.

It's nice to have one of your "favorites" available -- even if you only get to use it a bit.

I go a little over the top. I'm not taking any chances with losses, or device malfunctions when I am on vacations. Here is what I took with me on my week long Mexican vacation last week:

Case 1:
Reo Grand
Two AW IMR 18650's plus charger
5 Smoktek Single coils
30ml of Geoffs Blend
10ml of Geoffs Blend

Case 2:
Silver Bullet
Two AW IMR 18650's plus charger
5 Smoktek Single coils
30ml of Geoffs Blend
10ml of Geoffs Blend

Carry On:
Vapage VMod XL
Two AW IMR 18650's plus charger
5 Smoktek Single coils
30ml of Geoffs Blend
10ml of Geoffs Blend

Backpack:
EGo Case with 2 Ego Passthroughs
10ml x 2 of Geoffs Blend
5 pack of Joye LR 510 atties.

In reality, I ended up using the Vapage all day while out and about, and my Silver Bullet in the room. Changed 1 carto each during the week so used a total of 4 cartos and about 30 ml of juice all week. I will not travel without enough spares to cover whatever contingency may arise. :)

I recently spent a long weekend in Chicago, just took 30ml of my juice, along with the trusty Chuck, 2 sets of batteries and a charger. Rushed out the door and forgot spare cartos/attys, but chuck kept on going all weekend. Forgot to grab it out of the cupholder when I was taking the train into the city, but I saw a big sign in the window of a walgreens or CVS that was selling 510 disposables for $7.99, so I grabbed one of those to get me through those few hours downtown.

Probably not an answer you'll see too often, but I just bring my basic kit and take my chances.

But then again, my equipment seems to last for such a long time, I'm not really scared anymore...
--None of my three Chucks has ever let me down
--My genuine Joye 510 atomizers last for months
--Every charger I have ever gotten is still in service
--My batteries last darn near forever it seems

If I have to go back to death sticks for a few days, or even a week, that doesn't really concern me.
I know I'll come back to the vape as soon as I get home.

Would I really recommend that approach for everyone?
Probably not.

But I've reached the point where the vape is 90% superior to death sticks.

But I will admit to taking a nice little bag of various nicquids.
Changing flavors as needed is by far my main concern.

I tend to go overboard to, but I don't want to be without anything

I usually pack several dity bags, each with a different mod & accessories & juice. Not that I'm being paranoid, but if I lost 1 bag packed with everything, I'd be up a creek.....

come to think of it ~ I pretty much do this on a daily basis....ok, I've heard to many stories about losing batteries, mods flying out car windows.........wow I am bad  (read - I will never go back to mokes & I was raised as a "what if" kid)

This summer on vacation for a week in Panama City, I'll grab this and slide between the suitcases. $7.99 at Harbor Freight. The top lid is translucent, so you can see what you have before you open it. 1000mah eGo batts fit easily into the larger compartments and each compartment lifts out so that you can flip the contents into your hand.

My backup situation at home goes a bit overboard and I can say that when I travel it goes to even greater extremes!

When I fly, I carry a set on me, pack one in my luggage but have also mailed a set to my destination in advance and received confirmation that it has arrived. I also see if there are any brick and mortar in the area. If so, I check out their site, the items they carry and call them in advance.

The short way to describe my strategy is: everything in triplicate plus a passthrough.

Oh great, throw in another set of back ups to back up contingency plan.........good one though!

I threw everything into a travel purse. Before I left I made sure my two egos were at full charge and all 8 of my 808s were charged. I had topped off all my cartomizers and brought 5 empty 510 cartos and 10 empty 808 cartos. I took probably 15 different bottles of juice, all my chargers, a case, paper towels for cleanup and a tool to pop off the carto caps. I was only gone for 3 days. =)

Lol ! Yup! And "throw in" has to be qualified. There is little benefit to packing everything in one spot. They have to be stored separately. If all the backups are in one bag and it's misplaced/lost/stolen they are of little help.

I guess this a flashback from my server admin days. All disk were mirrored or in proper raid configurations and backed up externally to other disks. They were then also backed up off site and a copy was taken off site each night. If people only knew the number of goofball admins that get fired because of inadequate backups...... especially in areas affected by natural disasters.

As a frequent traveler, often overseas, I am the lightest packer known to women. However I am OCD with my vaping, because I do not want to be stuck in a different country, or for that matter, a different city unprepared. I carry double of everything i.e. 4 pv's, 2 chargers, 6 batteries, at least 6 cartos pre-punched, 2 tanks & quadruple the juice--half packed, half carry-on. My system has served me well when the unexpected happens!
