This summer with me I'll be camping for 3 nights/2 days with my g/f and have no clue what I'll be taking since there will be no outlet around. I think before the trip I'll have to stock up on kgo's for charging via USB after mod batteries die off.

Should be an interesting trip and know I'll over do it lol.

A couple sets of 18650 batteries will cover your weekend camping trip easily. No stress factor. Batteries are cheap, as long as you're running 18650 mods. ;)

If you'll have your car you can pick up a usb car charger that works through the mokie lighter outlet, or pick up a solar charger (which now reminds me that as a prepper I need one of these to........)

I'm definitely going to pick up a dual usb charger just in case for sure and have seen the solar charger too...not a bad idea at all :)

My g/f and I will have 4 18650's between us and some "out and about" kgo(very near future purchase) and ego style batts too once we go out camping and should be a great getaway :)

I'm going to Hawaii for a week this summer, I'm planning on taking my Provari, a Darwin if I can get one before then, and some 808s, and I am staying fairly close to Volcano, address stored in my GPS on my phone already. I haven't even thought about juice and such, I suppose I will pack kind of light so I can go spend some money in Volcanos store anyway. Lol.

I was just looking at what I had in my purse today when I went to work.

Just to go to work I packed 3 808's, one 801, a 901 with drip tip on an ego battery, and a 510-t with drip tip on an ego battery. Plus 6 10ml bottles of different juices. Plus a little pouch with extra 808 batteries, 801 batteries, and one ego battery. And all 6 of the PV's were fully charged, fully loaded with juice, and ready to use. All of this fit into a large ego case and one little pouch.

With 3 small chargers, I would have had enough to last a week or more!

I don't always take quite so much. But, I do always take at least half that much. And, if my car wasn't broken right now and I wasn't on the bus, I probably would also have taken something bigger to leave in the car when I went in to work!

Can you imagine what I might take if I was going on a trip?

I always overpack for everything.

Look at the wattage draw of your charger and compare watts/amps to 12v converters that plug into a vehicle convenience outlet. I can run my laptop easily from a 400 watt DC/AC converter. It should run a Li-ion charger just fine.

I have a portable 7000mah USB power source I throw into my bag any time I'm gone longer than overnight. Apart from that, it's usually just two batteries, 4-5 filled cartos, and a couple of small juice bottles (I figure some flavors, like sweet stuff, I won't use up the carto).

At home, however, my backups are pretty extreme, at least 8 batteries and lots and lots of juice and cartos.
