Hi all, sorry for the poor intro.

I'm on here trying to help my mum get of the fags, she's been smoking these ....ty ecigs in oz but i dont think they have the real nicotine hit like the os ones.

She smokes mid strength menthol, so anything close to that is good, she wants around 16mg, i dont know if thats to strong or not, gotta start somewhere though, maybe i can get her a couple of levels, maybe some of you can help.

I looked on this site (i hope im allowed to post site stuff) Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit | Vapor Titan Starter Kit | Vapor4Life and was going to get the vaporlites for her, while at it i was going to get her some cartomisers but am not sure what cartomiser goes with which ecig kit.

Its all a bit confusing, especially for me a non smoker anyway, can someone here please help point us in the right direction?
I thought while buying the kit we may as well get some extra cartomisers in the postage to save money and stock up a bit for her.

A big thanks in advance, if you need anymore info please let me know, I'd like to get this right the first time.

Cheers
Wayne

Hi Wayne - get ready for a barrage of information... :)
I don't have any experience with these, but I can tell you that the carts are not one pack. On the positive side, you can get tanks for it. Smaller batteries equals less time between charges. I have a KGO myself, and am pretty happy with it. Good luck getting your mom of the cigs!
PS. 16mg is not too strong to start out with.

First Hi and welcome. The only suggestion I can make is to keep it simple. My sweeties mom had a stroke and to find out if she would use one She got her just one of the cheepies from a smoke shop. If she stays with it then I'll give her one of mine. Mine are all manual and hers is automatic. She has a really hard time with the button on the manual.

Well it nice you are getting your mom off those dam cancer stixs as I did and I havn't had one in 6 months now since I started vaping but il help you out as its not a easy task to start on your own finding everything.

To start how much does she smoke 1pack-2packs a day would be around 24mg to help with cig craving's she will have, but for 1 pack or less 18mg would also be great.

next thing you going to want to get is a battery/batteries I would recommend a ego 650 as it is not so cumbersome and has a good charge to hold about 8hrs of non stop vaping, and adding a second battery is a great choice so you can have one charging while one is in use and switch them so you don't have to wait for it charge as this will make it easier to not think about picking up a cig in the time it takes to charge.

Next you are going to look for a tank setup as tanks are great for people just starting because all you have to do is fill it up and push a button and not worry about putting a couple drops in every now and then. A great tank I have been using is the VIVI Nova 2.5 its a great tank that you can fill once a day but still a good idea to keep a bottle of liquid on you just incase but this tank gives great vapor flavor and throat hit with a 1.8 ohm coil its a little big looking on the 650 battery but it is worth every penny.

Another thing when starting off vaping your mom is going to have to sample a couple favors for the e-liquids as there are many and once she finds the flavor she enjoys it makes it soooooo much easier to quit cigs completely.

These are just a couple tips to help out but it really all comes down to personal preference Im just giving you a starting point but once she gets her setup to where she enjoys it she most likely will not pick up a cig for a long time to come.

Good Luck, Alberto.

Thanks everyone for the positive replies.

Mr.mopar (my favourite brand of car, not enough of them in oz), she would probably only smoke a half a pack a day.

She doesn't like the big sticks, she thinks everyone is staring at her so prefers more natural looking cigs.

Would these Cartomizers | Vapor4Life fit this kit Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit | Vapor Titan Starter Kit | Vapor4Life , It doesnt mention that they fit so im not sure what to get.

Maybe there is a better brand that would work, im open to ideas.

Thanks again.

If you're not a smoker yourself, and your Mom wants to start out simple, you'd probably do best to stick to a company that handles only products that all go together. Much harder to make a mistake that way!

Vapor4Life works like that, so you'd probably be fine. There's also:
Smokeless Image, Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Smokeless Image Electronic Cigarettes - The Future is in your hands
Bloog, http://bloogplanet.com/ and
SmokeTip, Cheap Electronic Cigarette

All these companies are beginner-oriented, and have tutorials and FAQ links on their sites.

I'm sure there are other good companies as well, but, basically, all you really need to start out is two batteries, something to charge the batteries with, and cartomizers to hold your nicotine juice. Any decent kit should come with all that stuff, and ought to run you somewhere between $40 and $60USD. The companies listed above even sell pre-filled cartomizers seperately. You just screw them on and puff away. Couldn't be simpler!

Once your Mom has tried that, she can move on to fancier stuff if she decides she likes it. (And she's very lucky to have you to help her! My mom couldn't find her way around the internet in a bazillion years. She'd probably end up spending 500 bucks for some silly thing that would blow up half the county.)

Good luck!

LOL, my mums not much better on the net! I'd do anything for her though shes a beautiful person and it bugs me seeing her sucking on those filthy bloody things.

That was my main concern, mixing and matching anything on the vapour4life site, now that i know it all interchanges i can order some stuff for her.

I didnt think to look at the faq  , thanks for your help!
